Honey strolled along in silence, the sound of the party becoming much more quiet. It was sort of eerie walking alone in the dark in nothing but her swim-suit. It was hard to keep herself calm. Of course no one would attack her, this area was safe. At least, that was what she kept telling herself. Still when she heard her name being called, she jumped, her heart pounding hard against her chest and bit back a scream.
‘Don’t be silly, Honey!’ she scolded herself. ‘What sort of attacker would scream out your name? ... A crazy one?’ Shaking her head lightly, she wondered what sane person argued with themselves and turned on the spot to see Frick heading her way. A sigh of relief passed through her lips. ‘It’s only Frick, see?’ She told herself in an attempt to calm her nerves.
The blonde continued to walk with Frick at her side and listened as he apologised. She quickly shook her head. “O-oh, no. It’s okay.” She smiled, slowing to a stop with him when he mentioned that he too was heading back to the school and that he had a car.
Honey smiled and eagerly nodded her head. “I’ll drive!” She all but blurted out, blushing immediately after.
“Um.. Remember how I asked if there were any toilets around earlier?” She questioned, hoping he’d get the gist of why she wanted to get back to the school faster. She hadn’t needed to go so bad earlier, but now she desperately needed to and was very grateful that Frick planned to head back to the school in his car.
Honey began to walk again, only stopping once she realised she didn't know where Frick had parked his car. Laughing awkwardly to herself, she could be so brainless at times, the blonde turned back to look at Frick.
"So.. where did you park your car?"
Idly, she wondered if she'd ever stop embarassing herself in front of professors.

Frick was pleased as Honey stopped and listened to his rather pitiful excuse for an apology as he babbled. Still, she snapped up the oppertunity to drive, so he took that as a sign she wasn't too mad at him. Or mad at all... he didn't know if Honey actually knew how to be mad.
It made him wonder.
He stifled a chuckle when Honey mentioned her previous need for the bathroom. It had reared its head again, but he didn't make a point of it, he didn't want to make Honey more embaressed, so keeping his laughter silent nodded his head to the left and beckoned her to follow him.
His car, if it could be called that. It was a beaten up old blue pick up truck. It had seen better days and was in desperate need of some TLC, but it managed to get him from A to B - most of the time. The speed metre never went above thirty, even when he was driving over that. And the radiator always showed the car was dangerously over heating - but it worked... mostly.
"Here. You really need to punch the gas, but it goes pretty well." He grinned. As beaten up as his car was, he loved it all the same. It had a personality. He walked around to the passenger side and waited for Honey to unlock the doors. Being a passenger would be interesting. He hadn't been a passenger in a vehicle since he was about sixteen!

Honey stared at the beaten up old truck, as Frick made his way around to the passenger side of the vehicle. It looked like something that belonged in the dump but it still made Honey smile. She hadn’t known Frick long, having only had a real conversation with him tonight but this vehicle screamed Frick Harris.
Opening the car door, Honey climbed in and leaned over to open the passenger side door. “This truck is very.. You.” she stated lightly, grinning all the while. Once Frick was seated and they both had their seatbelts on, Honey started the engine.
The vehicle roared to life and then she put it into gear and stalled. “Uh…” blushing, embarrassed, the blonde chuckled sheepishly. “Sorry.” Honey attempted to start the car again, grinning triumphantly when she managed to start it down the road.
“I feel kind of bad for leaving Zack alone to shaparone the party.” She commented with a frown. If there had been other professors there she hadn’t seen them. As far as she knew there had only been herself, Frick and Zack.
The drive to the school didn’t take long. Honey drove a little faster than she normally would have, but it was fine as there wasn’t much traffic about at night. In fact Honey loved to drive at night, she found it peaceful. But she really needed the toilet so there wasn’t any time to enjoy the trip to school.
“Here we are.” She sang to herself, pulling into an empty space in the faculty car park. The engine shuddered and groaned to a halt and Honey removed the keys.
“How is your head?” She questioned again and then realised that she must have sounded very annoying with her repetitive questions and smiled sheepishly. “Sorry, I’m being annoying.”

Frick blinked, and then double blinked pausing as he held the passenger door open. He was surprised by Honey's statement that she thought the truck was 'him'. why? Cause it was rusty? And old? And damaged? He shook his head a little and climbed in. No... he doubted that was why she had said it. Honey wasn't mean like that. He was sure she meant it in a nice way, like a compliment. That the truck had character and so did he.
"Thanks." Frick said finally and grinned. He laughed as the truck stalled and patted the glove box affectionately. "Don't apologise, you gotta have a knack to it." He was quietly impressed how Honey got the truck moving on the second go. Arila had hated driving the truck, she could never get it started, and once she did get it started, she could never keep it going.
It was difficult to see much outside the windscreen as there weren't many lights illuminating the road. But the headlamps did help. Frick glanced across at Honey as she mentioned leaving Zack behind and shrugged, "I'm sure he'll be able to handle anything. Seems the kids are pretty well behaved... on the whole." He opted not to mention their small run in earlier.
Once they'd arrived at the school, in record time Frick noted (he rarely pushed his truck over forty any more, afraid something would drop off. Honey had managed to get at least fifty out of it, and only gained a small grumble of disapproval from the engine), Frick found himself amused again by Honey's little chime that they had arrived. He somehow doubted she would have done that in front of him a few hours earlier.
Leaving the trck, Frick closed the door firmly and then jammed his shoulder against it to ensure it was closed.
"Its okay," Frick replied, continuing to nurse his injury a little, "the water on the can has stopped the material sticking to the blood, so it won't be too much of a problem to take it off and dress it. And you're not being annoying." Frick grinned, "Its nice to know you care so much." He shot Honey a playful wink and stood up straight.
"Okay, nurses office for me I think, I need to get some dressing and disinfectant. You wanna come give me a hand? Once you've done your business I mean," Frick grinned, "or you gonna head off to bed?"

Honey handed the keys over to Frick, blushing wildly when he winked and told her that she wasn’t annoying. She bowed her head in an attempt to hide her scarlet cheeks, her gaze watching her fingers as they toyed with her broken glasses. When the chemistry professor asked if she’d head over to the nurses office, Honey lifted her head, cheeks still a little red. Honey hated that she became embarrassed so easily but it was something she was used to, so she pretended the blush wasn’t there and smiled. “Of course I’ll give you a hand.” The blonde would feel awful if she headed off to bed without offering a helping hand with tending to his wound. Then she’d fall asleep worrying over Frick which wouldn’t turn out too great at all. It would no doubt lead to her stumbling into his mind when they both slept. Something she was sure he wouldn’t appreciate. A breeze swept across Honey’s bare skin, causing goose bumps to raise. It was much cooler here, now that they were away from the beach and the bonfire. She yearned for something clothing and was half tempted to suggest stopping by her room so that she could stick on a shirt or maybe a pair of PJ bottoms. Except fixing up Fricks wound was a little more important, so she decided that she could wait. “I’m pretty sure there are toilets at the nurses office.” Once they had reached the nurses office, Honey quickly excused herself to the bathroom. “I won’t be long.” She promised, disappearing through the door, labelled ‘Ladies’. Once in she stared down at the toilet and then sighed. Going was always a pain when wearing a swimsuit. Especially when you're desperate. _______________
