Frick wasn't sure whether Honey's reaction was a good one or not. On the plus side she hadn't turned invisible again, so that had to be good. Likewise she hadn't turned around and glared or scolded him. On the other hand, she was now pink (however the colour was pretty). He supposed the reaction was an automatic one - she didn't seem used to attention, neither did she appear to like it.
"So you're a green horn?" Frick inquired, "well, we all start somewhere. I think here's a good place to begin. As for me, I'm not out of University. My grandfather taught me everything I know. Some stuff happened back home and I decided to get away. Offered up my services and here I am." Frick explained by passing the long explanation of why he was here and why it was unlikely he would return home while he still knew Arila was living close by. He was keeping in contact with his family through letters, emails and phonecalls. It wasn't much, but it was enough for him.
He was silent for a moment, absorbing the atmosphere, checking the goings on and vaguely listening to the music. Honey was obviously listening more closely because the tune changed she squealed excitedly. Surprised by the outburst, Frick nearly leapt out of his skin. But realising it was a "happy" noise he relaxed again, trying to slow his heart beat and grinned at his colleague.
Laughing as she apologised Frick grinned and rubbed one of his horns, "ah don't worry about it! Its good to get excited over something you like." He chuckled, enjoying the fact that she had another side to personality that had managed to escape however briefly, "if you wanna go dance I'll watch your drink for you." He nodded to the growing group of girating students.

Anemone heard herself gasp when the shock Jason emitted floored Charlize with barely any effort. His powers could easily challenge Forchet's in the ease department. She managed to move a step towards where Charlize had crumbled when jason's arm wrapped around her shoulders stopping her where she stood.
Fully aware that things were happening beyond her control, Anemone simply squirmed uncomfortably as Jason's weight came to rest around her. She didn't like the proximity, or how he ran his hands through the front of her hair, roughly without any care. She hated the smell, alcohol mixed with sweat and testosterone. She knew anyone with half a stick of sense would be pushing him away, trying to get ther offender off them even if they had no hope. Anemone was just standing like a glowing block of concrete and she knew it. She didn't try and tempt fate further so kept her mouth shut, holding her breath.
Then moments later, a squeal was echoing around the area over all the other noise. Jason's smell had been replaced by one Anemone recognised and the weight around her shoulders was gone, in its place an arm tightly wrapping around her bare waist. Immediately she felt safer, taught against Raiden's side. She vaguely saw Jason examine the situation before him before his common sense kicked in and he followed his own need for safety and flew into the crowd.
Once "danger" - though Jason didn't really represent any danger, just hormonal drunkeness - had completely gone, Raiden's arm also disappeared. The disappointment flooded over Anemone and she ceased to glow moments later, something she should have been thankful for. She took a step back, pre-empting what she suspected was Raiden's next move - so he didn't have to make it. She managed a small, half-hearted smile, looking up at him for a moment in an attempt to see if the 'other' Raiden was in there somewhere. "I'm fine... thank you."
Exhaling slowly she crossed to Charlize, "are you okay? That looked pretty nasty. Thanks for trying to help... you might have guessed, I'm a bit of a cuttlefish when I'm uncomfortable." Breathing gain, and swiping her hand through her hair, trying to relax, Anemone shrugged, "so what's the next exciting thing on the agenda?"

As the evening wore on, Zack was really starting to get bored. One of the tiki torches went out and he walked over to it to light it again. After returning his lighter to his pocket, he turned around to scan the crowd. It had gotten much larger while he had stood in silence and watched the water. And as much as he loved a good riot, he hoped nothing got out of hand.
He spotted Frick and was quite tempted to head over to him and strike up a conversation with him. But decided against; Frick already looked occupied and Zack shrugged. Oh well. Time to find some other form of entertainment. He sighed and walked back over to the fire. If he didn't find anything to do within the next five seconds, he was going to go pick a fight with a muscular stranger. Yep.
Scanning the ground once more, Zack finally noticed a few of the people around the fire. And a cat. What a cat was doing there was beyond him. He had seen the girl with blue hair crumple to the ground and took a step to go help her. But Raiden had beaten him to it. Well damn. That guy moves entirely too fast. He stuffed his hands into his pockets and for a moment felt utterly useless. But decided to take this opportunity to at least make sure she was all right.
He walked over to her and looked around for that kid who had been the source of the problems. "Hey, you okay?" He asked. He was silent for a moment as he waited for her to reply and then smiled. "Just say the word and I'll suspend him." He thought maybe a joke would help lighten the mood. But then again, maybe not.

Honey faltered slightly when Frick offered to watch over her drink so that she could dance. “Oh, no. I think that would be a bad idea.” She chuckled a little. “I have to be the worst dancer. Ever.” Smiling brightly, she took another gulp of her can and let out a refreshed ‘Ah’. “I love bonfires.” She stated, her gaze drawn to the flames. Bonfires were always so much fun. “How about you?” She questioned and glanced at Frick. Her gaze faltered however when she heard what sounded like a girl screaming. Immediately, her eyes darted around in search of who it was who had screamed. They sounded close. Her large brown eyes eventually stopped on a pair of dog ears, attached to a head of silver hair, who she identified as professor Raiden. There seemed to be some sort of commotion going on, but he seemed to have it under control. “I wonder what happened..” She murmured quietly, her curious gaze trailing after a tall student who was racing his way off of the beach. ______________ Charlize watched on in amusement when Jason scrambled to his feet and bolted from the beach - she felt a little bad for the guy. He wasn’t all that bad when sober - just your average annoying teenaged boy. Alcohol turned him into a jack-ass. “I’ve been better.” She grimaced playfully and shook her arms a little in an attempt to rid the buzz that still caused her skin to tingle, from her body. “Are you okay?” She questioned Anemone, tilting her head to the side a little. It had been clear that Anemone had been beyond uncomfortable when Jason had leaned all over her. “If it happens again don’t be afraid to put the jerk in his place.” Charlize told the taller girl seriously. She wasn’t only talking about Jason. She hated it when a man took advantage of a female in any way. “We could dance?” Charlize suggested in reply to Anemone's question, her eyes flickering to the groups of people dancing around the bonfire. "We could find some cute guys?" She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively at her second suggestion and then fell silent as she mentally listed possible-fun related things to do, only stopping when she was approached by the guy who had stuck his hand in the fire. “I’m good.” Charlize replied to the newcomer, who she noted with appreciative eyes, was a major hottie. Raiden seemed to notice her eager stare because he muttered low enough so that only her sensitive ears could pick up what he was saying. “Do not flirt with the head of the school Lilly.” Her smile faltered slightly and she sent a brief glare in Raidens direction, he matched her annoyed glare with his own ‘Don’t-you-even- dare’- glare. One she had been on the receiving end of many times before. Really, Raiden could be such a pain. It wasn’t like she had known that the dark haired man was the Head of Kosaka Academy. Though, she thought that maybe she should have. She was a student after all. Charlize scowled, what was wrong with appreciating the opposite sex? Nothing. At least she didn’t think so. Okay so maybe she could be a little more discreet about it. And It wasn’t like she had flirted with him or anything. Not yet at least. And so what if she did. Flirting wasn’t a crime. Flirting was something that came naturally to her, it was a part of who she was. Raiden couldn’t hold that against her could he? By the stern look on his face - yes - he could and he would. Finally Charlize rolled her eyes away from Raiden’s glare in defeat and turned them back to the tall man stood before her, making a mental note not to flirt. “Tempting.” Charlize grinned, when he mentioned that Jason could be suspended. “But, J is a pretty cool guy when he isn’t wasted.” She explained with a light shrug, unsure on whether or not the Headmaster-guy was being serious. “Don’t worry, I’ll get him back.” Her playful smile flickered to a wicked grin easily and she winked at the taller man, grimacing slightly when she her fury ears picked up the low rumble of a growl. Raiden shook his head, exasperated. When he was younger he remembered his little sister as someone pure and innocent and sweet. But now, well now she was worse than most males. At least where it concerned the opposite sex. So when he spotted her roaming over the other professor with a look he knew all too well - much to his horror - he warned her off, not wanting her to get into trouble by mindlessly flirting with the Head teacher. Not only would it be wrong - on many levels, Raiden couldn’t bare to watch. In fact he’d rather not see her flirt with anyone. Charlize would stay single forever if he could help it. Away from the evil clutches of hormone-driven teenagers. Rubbing at an ear idly, Raiden contemplated escape. He wasn’t quite ready to leave the beach - after all he liked the beach - it was just over-crowded. He glanced over his shoulder, along the beach line and to the pile of rocks that hid the cove Anemone had introduced him to. His sharp eyes traced the distinct shape of the boulders tops that he could clearly make out in the dark night, as he considered heading over there - away from the crowds of people. “Hey, Rai?” Charlize interrupted his thoughts and the Hanyou turned to look at his small sister. “Did you want a drink?” Raiden shook his head. “I’m not staying.” “Oh.” Charlize frowned for a moment but shrugged in the end - she knew he didn’t want to stay. Raiden wasn’t exactly a people person. It was a miracle he was still stood there. “Anemone? - uh-” She stopped short when she’d turned to ask the Head teacher if he wanted a drink, realizing that she didn’t know his name. “What’s your name again?” she questioned sheepishly, feeling a little foolish over the fact that she didn’t know the name of her own school Head. She guessed that she should at least know his last name, but it wasn’t ringing any bells.

"I'm sure I could challenge you for that title." Frick countered playfully, retorting to Honey's comment about how she was the worst dancer ever. He pointed at his feet. "Two left feet." He grinned at her, observing as she took a hearty gulp from her can. He copied, and returned his gaze to the surrounding area.
"Yeah... they're pretty cool." Frick replied, vaguely eyeing the bonfire, watching the flames. It was funny, with all the student dancing around the fire and the tiki torches everywhere, this could have looked like some tribal rite of passage. At least it might have if you took away the music and the drinks. For some reason that thought amused him, andhe laughed at himself quietly - ceasing only as he heard the same high pitched squeal that Honey had heard.
His gaze went in the same direction as her own, following the sound and linking it to a small group near the fire. None of the students he recognised. He could see Professor Raiden's head, and spotted Zack making his way over to him. Either tempted by the girls or curious from the sound. He then spotted who must have made the sound running from the beach.
"I think someone might have been over-stepping their bounds." Frick mused, smirking a little. One thing was for sure, drunken, hormone fuelled teenager sure were fun to observe. "Looks like there's no damage done though."
This thought struck him and he crushed his now empty can in his fist. "We should probably so our duty and check everything's okay everywhere else... the commotion just reminded me why we're here." He grinned at Honey and quirked his arm at an angle. "Care to join me?" He offered her his best smile, bowing every so slightly.
---
Charlize's concern surprised Anemone and she blinked a few times before she found her voice to answer. "I'm fine." She confirmed and nodded once, firmly to confirm it. "I'm just not used to being... leered over." She managed a smile and stood back as the bluenette rose to her feet, shaking the remains of the electric shock from her body through her arms.
She carefully considered Charlize's suggestions, silently musing them. Dancing she could do. It sounded harmless and she did enjoy dancing anyway... well - on her own. In front of other people or around other people she always found herself overly self concious and turned into a wall flower. Everytime she and her sisters got together she would turn into the wall flower, only joining in when dragged by one of her older siblings.
Cute guys? Anemone wanted to laugh. Somehow she doubted that would go down well with Raiden. She hadn't expected his reaction when Jason had slung himself over her, though whether that was because it was her or because he was filling in his role at teacher was still something Anemone wasn't sure of. At the moment she was putting it down to it being her... she was allowed to hope at least, right?
Before she was able to answer, their small group was joined by a dark haired man, offering to have Jason suspended. He was... cute. Very cute in fact, a fact Charlize didn't appear to miss, if the approving expression in her eyes was anything to go by.
Anemone giggled softly to herself. She'd done her rounds and research on the school before arriving, she didn't know all the teachers, but she at least knew that the man Charlize was basically checking out was the Headmaster. Holding her laughter in, Anemone noted a silent exchange being made between Raiden and the blue haired girl until she appeared to relent and turned her attention back to the Headmaster.
Raiden however held Anemone's attention for a few more moments while she observed him rubbing one of his ears and watched his gaze stare out into the distance. From where they were it wasn't much of a trek to the cove she had showed him. And if his other senses were anything to go by, he was probably able to make out the boulders that blocked it off. Anemone chewed the inside of her cheek for a moment - her nervous habit - before she shuffled across the sand walking passed Raiden stopping a few inches away from him, her back now facing the bonfire so she was facing out towards the water. She planted her hands on her her hips as if she was scrutenising something on the horizon - not that she could see anything there, apart from the occasional orange glow in the distance from Fossu's dorsal fin.
"Uhm... you heading to the cove?" Anemone asked, keeping her eyes forward and voice low, low enough for her to hear and Raiden, and hopefully no one else.
Hearing her name said, Anemone turned, trying not to look startled. She nodded again at Charlize's offer of a drink, smiling. "Sure thing. Thank you."

The corners of Zack’s mouth curled into a small smile when he heard the stranger reply. He was glad that she was all right. He was about to speak again when he noticed her attention had shifted from him to someone else in the crowd. Oh. It was Raiden. Again. Zack looked back and forth between the two of them as he waited for their silent conversation to finish.
As he stood there, Zack began to wonder if he had intruded on something. He felt kind of out of place as the two people stared each other down. Whatever he had done must’ve ticked Raiden off cause the man obviously didn’t look pleased. He rubbed the back of his neck and was about to excuse himself when she turned around to look at him.
Any of the sheepishness he was feeling was gone when she replied to his earlier statement about suspending the boy. He chuckled and nudged away at a rock with his toe. “Ah I was only joking, either way,” replied.
He took that opportunity to study Charlize a little more. He had seen so many different students around campus. And it was funny cause Zack always made it a point to check out all of the female students. So why had he never seen her around before? He shrugged it off though. All moral dilemmas aside, she was cute; there was no doubt about that.
Zack pulled his hands out of his pockets, his lighter along with them. “So you helped organize this, right? Everything looks nice.” He nodded his head and scanned the crowd. People were laughing and dancing and for the time being, all of their problems were forgotten. Zack smiled softly. This was how it should be.
“Oh, Zack. Zack Truesdale. But you can call me Zack. As a matter of fact, I insist.” He answered her question and offered her his hand to shake. “Now, you know my name. Can I have yours?”

“Uh-huh.” Charlize grinned widely when Zack questioned her about the party. “It’s pretty cool, right?” She bragged, clearly proud of her work, her golden eyes glancing around their surroundings briefly. “I should be the schools official party planner.” She joked, her smile still in place. “Zack.” The blue-nette confirmed, taking his larger hand to shake. “Charlize Deluca. Call me Charlize.” Dropping his hand, Charlize shifted her weight onto her right leg and leaned to the side in order to see around Zack. “You wanna help me with the drinks?” she flashed him a grin and moved around to his side, stopping a few feet away. “Uh- by the way.” She’d spun around on her heel, to face Zack, her expression apologetic. “The Alcohol was so not my idea.” She chuckled nervously, scratching at an ear. The last thing she needed was to end up in trouble, she was sort of responsible for the party after all. “It just - kind’a happened.” She shrugged lightly. Alcohol always ended up being involved whenever high school parties took place. “Mm.” Raiden hummed a confirmation in reply to Anemone’s question, though didn’t turn to face her. His gaze fell to his sister for a brief second who was currently engaged in conversation with Zack. She wasn’t flirting much to his relief and he trusted her not to. He figured he’d head off now. Make a stop at the Cove for a little while and then head back up to the school. He was beginning to feel exceedingly out of place stood here. Parties really weren’t his thing. Flickering his maroon eyes to his sister as she danced off with Zack to get refreshments, Raiden decided that he’d off now. Charlize wouldn’t be surprised to find him gone and as for looking out for her - she would be safe with Zack he guessed, not that she couldn’t handle herself. But you never knew what dangerous powers a student could unleash in their drunken state. Pocketing his hands again, Raiden turned on the spot and began making his way toward his next destination. “I’ll wait.” He whispered as he whisked past Anemone, his nose twitching lightly when her caught her scent on the light breeze. He and Anemone needed to have a conversation regarding what had passed between them. He’d already mulled over it over the past week. In fact, Anemone and that day were the only things he could think about, much to his annoyance. So yes, they needed to talk. He’d prepared himself the conversation they needed to have and sooner was always better than later. He’d wait in their spot until she was ready to head over and talk to him. He paused in his thinking then realising that he’d just described the Cove as ‘Their spot’. _____________ Honey failed in her attempt at suppressing a giggle when Frick offered her his arm and bowed, playful. “Of course” She replied, a little playful herself as she slipped her arm through his. “Lead the way good sir.” She was full out grinning now, feeling completely at ease. Frick’s goofy, laid back attitude made him less intimidating. Not that she had found him totally intimidating at first. It was just that he was so tall and probably way smarter than her and - well - she found every Professor intimidating. At least the male professors. But now, as they started moving across the sand, arm in arm Honey realised that Frick wasn’t a bad guy - there wasn’t any need to feel shy. Honey allowed her chocolate brown eyes to take in their surroundings as they walked. The students appeared to be enjoying themselves. She spotted a few students wrestling around in the sand not too far from where she was stood, but they only appeared to be play fighting. Nothing to worry about there. “Hey, look!” The blonde pointed towards the night sky suddenly, her eyes widening a fraction when she spotted not one but two shooting stars. “Have you ever seen anything more beautiful?” She murmured in awe. This was the first time she’d seen an actual shooting star with her own eyes.

Anemone quietly observed while Charlize and Zack made their identities known to one another, and Zack commented about the impressive set up Charlize had made. Anemone hadn't been aware that it was the blue haired girl who had organised the event - she made a mental note to compliment her on it a bit later.
Movement on Raiden's part caught her attention making Anemone break her gaze from the departing pair to him as he shifted and decided now would be a good time to disappear. She heard his words and shivered briskly, despite there being no breeze to make her shiver.
At least they were on the same page. He was going to wait and therefore understood that they needed to talk. Whether what they had to say to each other was the same was still open to discussion. She didn't have a clue what Raiden planned to say. She didn't want to think the worst, that he was going to brush off what had happened as nothing... that it was just a whim, but part of her mind was planting it in her head. And that thought made her reluctant to follow.
Noting that Charlize and Zack were nearing the drinks, Anemone cleared her throat. She would have to excuse herself from them. She didn't have a valid reason, she couldn't exactly turn around and give her reason as needing to talk to a Professor she had been making out with last week about said episode. Pursing her lips for a moment, Anemone took a breath and followed after them.
She tapped Charlize on the shoulder once she reach her, plastering a small grin on her face. "Hey, hold that drink for me. I have to go check something out..." She pointed at her markings, "racial stuff, no big. I'll be back a little later. See you in a bit."
Before she lost her composure (Anemone had never been a brilliant liar) or either of them asked further questions, Anemone turned and was marching herself straight down to the water. Swimming to the cove would be quicker for her - she might even get there before Raiden did. And it wouldn't look quite so suspicious if she went this way. It wouldn't look like she was following him.
Once she had reached a deep enough depth of water, Anemone surface dived and went straight to the seabed. Immediately, she was joined by Fossu who was under the impression she was back because of trouble.
"Its nothing. Go back to hunting. I have some stuff to deal with." She couldn't hide anything from Fossu. His disapproving growl made her wince and he disappeared in to the darkness. Anemone would deal with her deity later. Right now she had to figure herself and Raiden out. She swam along the seabed to where the rocks that blocked the cove off entered the sea. Easing her way over them under the water, she made her way to shallower water and stood up once she was able.
The noise of the party was less here. She could still make the bass line of songs that were playing, but it wasn't deafening, and she couldn't make out words. At least it smelt familiar here, and there were no drunken students around.
Sighing softly, unaware of whether Raiden was there already or not, Anemone made her way up the beach a few feet blocking out the differing opinions in her head, it really needed to be just her right now, she could just about function with that. Planting herself on the sand, Anemone pulled her wet hair over one shoulder can began to braid it occupying her fingers and mind for the moment.
---
Frick loved the fact Honey was starting to relax around him. He positively beamed as she took his arm and giggled. He would be the first to admit that she was adorable. Not out right sexy, but she had a certain appeal. One that made him want to stick close, like he wanted to protect her. The fact he hadn't felt the same feeling since Arila was a thought he was pushing out of his mind.
As they walked across the sand, through the crowd in a comfortable silence each of them took in their surroundings, observing the goings on of the students. There was a play fight happened between some of them. Plenty of groups of girls dancing with other, and plenty of boys trying to avoid looking at them, Likewise there were couples and shy girls - like Honey - eying the troupe of students from the safety of the outside.
This was turning into a good evening. There had been no mishaps so far, no one was trying to kill anyone else. Nothing was blowing up. No powers were playing up. Frick was having a good time with Honey on his arm. He hadn't expected to find someone to talk to who wasn't Zack.
Starting at Honey's exclamation, Frick followed her line of pointing up wards towards two bright shining trails soaring through the dark blanket above them. "Wow...! That's special." Frick muttered, unable to take his eyes off the sky. "And... no. Hehe, natural phenomenons are pretty amazing."
This was a pretty good place to see the night sky, Frick realised as he stared up. There wasn't a lot of artificial light to interfere, so they had a good view of everything the sky had to offer. Frick pointed up, "hey look, you can see Orion's belt from here. Annd...." he paused, following the trail, "thats the Great Bear... the Little Bear just underneath it. And if you follow that, there's the North star." Frick grinned, "sorry, I like stars."

Raiden hadn’t expected Anemone to be there waiting for him. He’d planned to wait for her whilst she enjoyed the party, however it seemed she was just as eager to get this out of the way as he. After landing in the sand with soft thud, Raiden stood up right and stared ahead at the figure sat in the sand. Anemone was knelt down and even from afar he could clearly see her fingers weaving her hair into a braid, agile and fast. Something inside him of him lurched and Raiden couldn’t quell the nervous feeling that tickled at his insides. It irritated and annoyed him. He hated that Anemone made him feel like a ball of goo. Sighing, the Hanyou moved across the sand slowly, stopping to the side of Anemone, unsure on whether or not he wanted to face her. He was torn and facing Anemone would only make his decision harder. He didn’t want to hurt her after all. He didn’t want to see the hurt in her face. A few moments of silence passed and Raiden studied the moons glow. Another minute of silence passed before he decided to speak. “I’m not good for you.” Raiden explained, unusually gentle. There was no harsh edge to his words. No anger or annoyance. He was calm and certain because he spoke only the truth. He was a complete and utter mess and she deserved better. Far, far better. He couldn’t understand why she would want to waster herself with someone like him. He was hardly worth it. “My decision has been made Anemone.” He carried on, his gaze still on the crescent moon. “- -I’m sorry.” _____________ Honey sort of wished she had a camcorder with her to document the shooting stars, after all it wasn’t often you saw one shooting star let alone two together. She’d have to tuck away this memory for safe keeping instead - she doubted she’d forget this moment. The Art professor Hmm’d and Aah’d as Frick pointed out the patterns of stars in the sky and their names, still in awe. She herself knew nothing of the stars, only that they were amazing to look at. So she took a keen interest when Frick began to place names to patterns. “It’s okay.” Honey said, dropping her eyes from the sky and to the tall professor. “I like the stars too. I don’t know any of the names though.” Dumping her now empty can into a nearby make-shit trashcan, Honey pushed her large glasses up her nose. “Um - you don’t think there’s a little girls room around here do you?” She questioned quietly, a little embarrassed that she had to ask, and glanced around at their surroundings. Her large brown eyes were unable to detect any stalls however.

Her hearing might not have been magnificent, but with all her senses on high alert Anemone heard the soft thud in the sand some distance behind her and immediately stopped braiding her hair. Her breath caught in her throat and she found it difficult to breathe for a moment. Her fingers, frozen in their positions remaind there for a while, refusing to move while she listened, straining her hearing to pick up the sound of sand moving.
Raiden was standing beside her moments later. He was silent and they both let the silence drag on, neither one wanting to be the first to speak.
It was Raiden though, who broke the quiet first. His statement didn't hurt as much as Anemone thought it would have at first. She stopped breathing completely shutting her eyes to let his voice penetrate. He wasn't speaking in the gruff tone she was used to, in fact he sounded calm and collected, and more than that, sure of himself. Anemone wasn't sure what hurt more, the tone or the words. She hated how her chest began to fill with a dull ache and that her heart beat rose to a painful speed against her rib cage.
She took a few seconds to think of what she was going to say. Eventually she decided, "well-" she coughed shortly, trying to stop her voice shaking, "it appears we've reached an impasse."
Rising to her feet, Anemone dusted the sand off her legs. "I like how everyone thinks they can decide what is good and what isn't good for me. My father does it... my siblings. Now you." Anemone murmured, speaking slowly, calmly. "Don't you think I'm old enough to decide what's right for me?"
Folding her arms, Anemone looked seriously out towards the water, staring hard at the silvery reflection of the moon above. "I don't put much stock in stuff like soul mates or junk," Anemone sighed loudly, trying to ignore the prickling feeling stringing up from her nose and behind her eyes, "but there is something about you that keeps me coming back. You could break my heart and I'd forgive you. I hate it because it confuses me. But at the same time I don't want it to go away because when I'm around you, even when you're hurting me, I feel safer. I feel different - like I have a purpose that's nothing to do with my damn stupid destiny as a Deity Holder... and I don't want that feeling to go away." Anemone paused and breathed uneasily, "I don't want you to go away."
There a sudden breeze, and Anemone shuddered against it, her arms moving from their crossed position to wrap around her body trying to stop herself. She felt vulnerable and she didn't like it.
---
Frick enjoyed how Honey took an interest as he began to ramble and point on constelations to her. No one ellse he knew really enjoyed them the way he did. The only person who had, had been his great-aunt. he had often tried to convince Arila to take an interest, but was often brushed off in favour of bed or whatever was on television at the time.
Frowning at himself, he looked down as Honey confirmed an interest in the heavens. At least he wasn't boring her. "I can teach you."
He glanced back up at the sky, where the trails of the two shooting stars could still be seen. Frick grinned a little at her question, looking around the area. He couldn't see anything that looked like a bathroom. The closest were probably in the hotels and cafés that decorated the sea front.
"I haven't seen one." Frick answered, still looking around, "best bet would probably be a café or something. You could probably get in there invisibly, they'd be none the wiser, using their facilities without paying." Frick suggested playfully. "Or there's the sea. Choice is yours."

Anemone’s uneasy breathing - the broken and uneven beats of her heart and the hurt evident in her voice hit Raiden like a thousand pin-pricks. Unexpected and sharp. He hadn’t thought he’d react so heavily to her hurt. His hands balled into fists at his sides. He really hated himself in that moment. It was eerily quiet then, the only sound to be heard was the music being played in the distance, but Raiden couldn’t hear it because all of his senses were on Anemone and the shaky breaths she drew. The Hanyou was silent for a long time after Anemone expressed herself. Her words struck deeper and harder than he wanted to admit - because what she felt he felt too. He felt like he had a purpose with Anemone - like he wasn’t quite doomed to be a slave to the animal within. He felt drawn to her - more so than anyone he’d ever come across. He felt confused beyond hope and he felt afraid. Afraid that if he let Anemone in, if he allowed himself to love that it would be torn away from him. Like his mother had been torn away, like his sister had been torn away, like his life had been ripped from his fingers. If he was with Anemone, Fate would be sure to take her from him wouldn’t it? His heart felt unnaturally heavy and he grimaced. Well - he hadn’t expected this when he had come here to speak with the teenager. He hadn’t expected the wave of emotions he was experiencing now. Something wasn’t right, Anemone had changed something in him because he had been like stone before he’d met her - Hard and cold and void of any emotion. He didn’t understand and it was frustrating - Tiring. One silver-furred ear flickered when Anemone shifted her weight, moving to curl her arms around herself - to protect herself from the wind. To protect herself from him? He frowned at that thought. Before he really had a chance to think over his actions, Raiden crossed the space between himself and Anemone and enveloped her form in his arms. The action was unfair considering moments before he’d told her that they wouldn’t be together - he was still undecided. But he didn’t quite care because he didn’t like her looking so fragile. “I’m not good for you.” He pressed again, trying to convince Anemone to think it over. In his mind it sounded like his voice was trying to convince him to think it over. He rested his chin on her head of hair and sighed quietly. He was torn. He could feel a warring going on inside himself. It had begun the moment he had returned to his normal state after the full moon. His mind had been plagued with thoughts of Anemone - thoughts he had tried to diminish because he couldn’t think those thoughts. He shouldn’t. But his ‘other’ self was fighting and pushing and damnit he was sure that, that side of him hadn’t been so prominent in his thoughts before. ______________ Honey blushed a shade of red that rivalled the colour of a tomato when Frick suggested that she turn invisible in order to enter a Café to use their facilities without paying. It was a pretty good idea. Except in order to do that she’d have to be completely naked. The very thought of running around naked, even though she’d be invisible, was unbearably embarrassing. “N-no, I think that would be a pretty bad idea.” Her chuckle was nervous and a little strained as she looked everywhere but at Frick. If she made eye contact she was sure she’d have another invisible episode. A surprised giggle mixed with a piggish snort - a goofy laugh she hated - escaped when Frick offered her another option - the sea. “I couldn’t possibly!” She gaped at the taller professor, her embarrassment momentarily forgotten. Of course she knew that people often used the sea as a toilet but she hadn’t ever even considered using the sea - not even as a child. “I mean - I know a lot of people do that but - I- I don’t think I could.” She trailed off into another nervous giggle, a pink blush accenting her cheeks when she attempted to picture herself wading into the sea just to stand there so that she could - - she stopped that thought there, before recomposing herself. “I can hold it.” She promised.

It seemed Anemone had given Raiden a lot to think about as after she had finished putting her cards on the table there was a long silence that felt uncomfortable. Anemone didn't like this, being so exposed, having her emotions and feelings laid out in front of someone else like this for them to pick at, to hurt or manipulate. She didn't like feeling so breakable, like at any minute her body would give out and she'd crumble into pieces.
She tried to think of life pre-Raiden. Pre-Kosaka, pre-everything that had happened to her since joining. All she could remember was mundanity. Following the same dull routine everyday, trying to appease a father who would never be pleased with her simply because of her gender. Trying to communicate with siblings who barely wanted anything to do with her and always finding home in the waves. Now though, all she could think of when she thought of home was Raiden. Where he was she wanted to be.
Needed to be.
Surely it wasn't natural to care about some one so much, so quickly. Someone who had spent their first meetings trying to get rid of her. But she did. She had admitted it to herself the first moment she realised it, and had now to him. Every word was true, even as it caused her pain to admit it, to put herself out on a limb in an attempt to ... keep him. It was the only way she could describe it.
His arms went around her and Anemone stiffened. This had been unexpected and again she stopped breathing for a few moments until she could feel Raiden's body heat warming her. Her confusion grew only more apparent from his closeness, but she paid it no heed. She savoured the moment, his warmth, the way he felt around her. She had no idea if this would ever happen again after tonight. If they would survive this conversation.
A sigh escaped passed her lips at his statement. "Every time you say that I feel like I'm going to break." Anemone admitted. Another sigh left her mouth as she turned in Raiden's arms to face him. She didn't know if this would be a good idea or not. She just wanted to see his face. "You have to understand you are good for me. You're the only good thing about this place, about this whole island. I've spent eighteen years walking around feeling like a part of me is missing - you come along and find a way to complete the puzzle."
Breathing uneasily, Anemone swallowed following her instincts for a moment as she pushed herself on to her toes, pressing a kiss to his mouth. She lingered there for a short time, keeping her eyes closed and blocking out any other sounds except those of Raiden's breathing, her senses taking him all in, smell, feel, taste. Anemone fell back flat on her feet and dropped her head to her chest. The moisture that had gathered behind her eyes was escaping and she had enough pride not to want Raiden to see that.
---
As Honey rejected his idea for running invisible into a café to use their facilities Frick look around for another option, sea not included. This kept him occupied until Honey laughed. A gorgeous giggle with an equally amusing snort. At first Frick looked at her quizzically, unsure whether the noise he had heard had come from her. But it could have been any one else.
"You have the most amazing laugh!" Frick stated, grinning and laughing himself. "Its adorable!" He couldn't focus on much else for a minute, just the infectiousness of the noise. Frick really did think it was the best laugh he'd ever heard. It also suited Honey to a tee. Not serious or prim, or a short laugh, but a genuine one that could make other people laugh with her.
As she mentioned she could hold it, Frick made himself regain his composure, still chuckling a little at himself and at Honey's laugh.
"We could always go up to the school briefly if it gets really bad. I do have a car parked near here, and as we'd only be gone a little while, I'm sure no one would miss us. So if you get desperate, let me know." Frick teased her a little and started walking again. "Lets see... where next..." He wonder out loud, eying the area warily, trying to pick out any would-be 'situations' they would have to disburse.

Raiden knew that upon seeing Anemone’s face and the raw pain etched into her features that his will would slip. He’d avoided making eye-contact with her all night for a similar reason, because he knew that the other half of him would win out and he wasn’t sure if that was what would be best. He hadn’t been ready to see the hurt in her eyes but he still listened on in silence, his expression still and guarded when Anemone pleaded that she was good for him. Her words were something he could just about bare in order to keep his will in tact. The hurt was harder to bare. It chipped away at his will more forcefully. But the soft kiss she pressed to his lips effortlessly crushed his will into nothing more than dust that was quick to slip through his grasp. Anemone fell back quickly and something inside him lurched again causing the Hanyou to visibly grimace. Unwrapping his arms from around Anemone’s still form, Raiden moved his hands to carefully cup her face. A heavy crease formed between his eyebrows when he came face to face with Anemone again. She was crying. A thumb brushed away the tears that stained her cheeks “Anemone..” He pressed his lips into a hard line, unable to finish. The frown that marred his features deepened and for a moment he allowed his own torn pain to flicker across his face - his confusion and his fear. The Hanyou was aware that he was losing the battle and he didn’t quite care as much as he thought he should have. What surprised him the most was the feeling of happiness and peace of mind he felt at the idea of losing - of giving in to what he really wanted. The dull ache that had a good squeeze on his heart seemed to lesson in that moment. To hell with his confusion and his fear and all the worries that his mind conjured up. Following his mind was the hard and painful path. Following his heart however.. Releasing a slow and deliberate breath, Raiden shifted his weight uncomfortably and leaned in so that his face was mere inches from Anemone’s. There was another ache this time, in his lips. They tingled with an anticipation that grew with every breath Anemone blew against them. The Hanyou was very still for a moment, hesitating, because he knew that if he kissed her now then it would be the end.. Or maybe the beginning. For the first time since meeting Anemone, Raiden allowed his mind to switch off, deciding to run with his instincts and the fast- eager beating of his heart rather than following his stubborn thoughts. With his lips paused inches before hers, Raiden closed his eyes and inhaled through his nose, taking in Anemone’s scent. His breathing hitched in his throat when her scent washed over him - intoxicating and sweet. He closed the small space between their lips. _________________ For what had to be the hundredth time today, Honey blushed. The heat behind her cheeks grew when Frick exclaimed that she had an amazing laugh. For a second Honey graced Frick with a sceptical and somewhat incredulous stare. Because he couldn’t possibly think that her monstrous laugh was at all adorable. Except he did and he was laughing too. “You’re the first to think so.” Honey smiled, her shyness returning at the compliment. It wasn’t often she was complimented after all. Once Frick’s laugh died down into a chuckle and he went on to explain that he could take her back to the school if she became desperate for the toilet, Honey nodded and offered Frick a grateful smile. “Thanks.” They were walking again now, surveying their surroundings. Everything was running smoothly. Maybe a little too smoothly. “Are High school parties supposed to be this-” Honey trailed off as she racked her mind for the right description. “- Calm?” She finished awkwardly, unable to think of a better word. She’d always heard of fights and scandals whenever her older sister had spoken of the parties she’d attended the night before. Surely something bad was bound to occur.

Zack chuckled lightly when Charlize mentioned being the school's official party planner. He hadn't even given much thought to planning official parties. There was just so much other stuff to tend to. Parties were last on the list. But now? Now he was reconsidering it. "I know who to turn to then, if I need the help," he replied with a grin.
He nodded and smiled when she told him her name. "Charlize. Pleased to meetcha." He withdrew his hand and toyed with his lighter as he continued to watch the party. His attention drifted back and forth between what was happening at the party and Charlize. As much as he wanted to give her his full attention, he sort of felt obligated to watch over the students. Especially now that he knew drinking was involved.
Charlize's voice caught his attention though and kept it. He smiled and nodded when she asked if he wanted to help her with drinks. "I'll have whatever that Jason kid was drinkin." He replied with a sly grin. He waved his hand at her apology and grinned his usual playful grin. Zack was all for shenanigans. Having fun and goofing off was probably one of his most favorite things in the world to do. So long as no one was getting seriously hurt. "Ah it's no worries. I wasn't exactly surprised."
His pace to where the drinks were was slow and leisurely and he had to stop momentarily to get the sand out of his shoe. "So what's to be our poison?"

Felix Felicis:
Anemone seemed fascinated with me; As soon as Charlize had put me down, she’d scooped me up into her arms. Again because she was female, and quite pretty too, which always helped, I allowed her to scoop me up without protest. She asked "You're a shape shifter, right?" then started rubbing behind my ears; Effectively preventing me from answering. – I, of course, immediately closed my eyes and started purring. Did I mention how much I LOVE when people do that to me? I was also helpless to respond to her next comment: "Well - you're pretty darn cute in this form..." in any manner other than purring deeper.
She asked Raiden a question while still looking at me, which briefly confused me, then I ignored it when I realized who it was actually meant for. After that, I was only aware of some of the conversation, being as I was delightfully distracted by Anemone's attentions...
With my ears being given such attention, I barely noticed Charlize’ offer of drinks and was far too distracted to answer. It seemed that Raiden had gone off to fetch said drinks in the middle of Anemone’s answer. Charlize apologized on his behalf, but Anemone apparently thought the apology was unnecessary and continued to pet me. – I was beginning to like her.
Then a new voice broke in. It was a male voice and kinda slurred – He was apparently nowhere near sober. I cracked an eye open to see him slump himself over Charlize, a move she was obviously unimpressed with. She had addressed the brute with the name “Jason”, so I’ll assume that’s his name. I was impressed that such a small-framed girl could bear his weight without collapsing into a heap, but somehow she managed.
I saw her nose wrinkle up at his bad alcohol-breath, which I could already smell even at this distance; A distance that had just increased as I felt Anemone step back from the newcomer.
When Jason drawled into Charlize’s ear, I guess he must’ve brushed against her cheek – She looked disgusted and shoved him away so he stumbled. He tried to get back on her good side by asking if they were friends or not, but Charlize had a smart answer ready – that they were only friends basically when he was sober – and snatched his booze off him as she told him to “Lay off the alcohol.”
Jason turned his attention to us, though I got the impression it was mainly on Anemone, given the leering look on his face. I felt her grip tighten on me and she stopped petting me. I was glad she had something to block his view of her cleavage with, given what little she was wearing… Even if that something happened to be me. He addressed her as ‘Babe’. I looked up to see her cringe as she stepped back even further. As Jason lumbered over to Anemone, I growled up at him, preparing to swipe with my front claws, but it was at that moment that Anemone’s grip shifted and I found myself slipping out of her arms to land on the floor. I’d wanted to stay in her arms where I could reach him better, but in order to have stayed there I would’ve had to grip her skin with my claws and I didn’t want to hurt her. As I landed, on all four feet as usual, I glared at this 'Jason' and a growl started forming in my throat. Anemone's only response to him at this point was "Hello." I could sense the wary nervousness in her voice and wished I was still blocking his view of her cleavage...
Charlize warned him to lay off her, but got zapped when she touched him, causing her to yelp and twitch in a pained heap on the sand. He commented that she was "Weak" then turned his attention back to Anemone. As he draped himself over her and raked his fingers roughly through her hair, I hissed up at him and hunkered down in a ready-to-strike position. – If he so-much as touched her again, he’d regret it. I’d make sure of that.
As I began the transformation into Wildcat form, I heard Raiden return and go to Charlize’s aid. Jason’s squeal hurt my sensitive ears as Raiden threw him away from Anemone. Raiden told him to ‘get lost’ and I hissed at him again for good measure. He decided he’d had enough and ran off. As he ran away, I gradually regained my usual form – My size diminished slightly, and the colour of my fur graduated from tan back to black.
When Raiden asked Anemone if she was ok, I noticed his arm returning to his side - Apparently he'd been hugging her to his side, but somehow this didn't bother me; I guess his willingness and ability to defend her from jerks had gotten him my respect, and it didn't matter that there appeared to be something... 'More'... Between the two than simple student-teacher or friends connection. Albeit hidden from Charlize, I came to realize. Anemone confirmed she was ok, then she went over to Charlize to ask how she was and thank her for trying to help.
With Jason gone, I padded over to join Anemone at Charlize’s side while she asked what 'the next exciting thing on the agenda' was; If Raiden hadn’t been around, I would’ve defended the girls myself; To the best of my abilities. I'm not immune to electricity, so I may not have won, but he'd definitely have gone away dripping blood. I would've made sure of that.
I wondered if any of them had noticed me start to transform, or returning from that partial morph – I hadn’t had time to complete the morph before the need for it had passed.
I casually wondered who Jason was as I sat on my haunches again between the two girls. I’d been nice and cosy and comfortable in each of their arms, but now I was on my own feet again. I kinda hoped I wouldn’t be for very long, it was nice being held and petted.
Just then, we were approached by somebody else wanting to make sure the girls were ok. He turned out to be Kosaka's headmaster, so I'm glad I hadn't hissed at him at the time. He joked about suspending Jason, and I nearly asked him to go-ahead and do it, but Charlize beat me to the punch and diffused all agression on my part.
Charlize had suggested dancing as a new 'exciting thing' for their 'agenda'; Something that I'd find quite outside what I was capable of offering. It saddened me a bit to think of them leaving me to go dance... Then she'd suggested finding some 'cute guys', which made me cringe a bit, though I couldn't blame them for being themselves. After all, to them I was more 'cat' than 'student'.
It was quite evident to me that Charlize thought the Head was attractive - evidently she didn't realize that's who he was; Confirmed a moment later by her brother Raiden's reaction. He had indeed spoken much quieter than normal humans could hear, but it takes a whole new level of quiet to escape Feline hearing. - I wondered why he'd called her 'Lilly', rather than 'Charlize', but then it clicked: This must be his pet-name for his sister, where 'Dusk' had been hers for him. I decided to pretend I hadn't heard anything and keep what I'd heard to myself; Just like back home, I kept secrets people confided in me.
They glared at each-other, which I found positively cute, but Charlize's scowl obviously meant she'd lost that battle-of-wills. She'd then rolled her eyes at him and turned her attention back to the Headmaster to defend Jason and promise she'd find her own way to 'get back at him'.
I was pleased she intended to exact some sort of revenge on the jerk - It made me like her even more, too.
Raiden was rubbing his ear idly, apparently thinking hard about something - Escape, maybe? - His gaze rested a moment at a point in the near distance, further along the beach somewhere was my best guess, though I couldn't tell exactly where.
Charlize interrupted her brother's thoughts by abruptly asking if he wanted a drink, but he merely confirmed what he'd been thinking about - He wasn't planning to stay. - She seemed disappointed, but apparently knew it was futile to argue the point so she instead turned and asked the same thing of Anemone and the Headmaster, realizing at that point she still didn't know his name. He introduced himself using his full name and, in response, so did she. I now knew her last name too.
It was at this point I got distracted by Anemone: She'd shuffled off a little past Raiden and was whispering to apparently no-one, though with my hearing I could tell exactly who it was meant for, and again I kept this information to myself. She had indeed been very quiet, even to my ears, but I'd picked up mention of the word 'Cove' and linked it to what Raiden might have been looking at just a second or so before. She was startled by Charlize's question about drinks, though she hid it well when she turned to answer her.
When the Headmaster, whose name I now knew was Zack, commented about Charlize's involvement with organizing this beach/bonfire-party, I marvelled at how involved she'd actually been: So she had brains aswell as beauty, it now seemed. I would have smiled, if only I'd had the right facial-muscles.
She asked him if he'd mind helping with the drinks, and apologized for the presence of alcohol despite it being obviously NOT her fault, and I then heard Raiden's almost-silent response to Anemone, confirming what she'd guessed and apparently expecting her to meet him privately later, most-likely at this 'Cove' place I'd heard mention of.
It seemed he wouldn't have to wait long, however, as Anemone soon made an excuse to leave the party herself - She was quite convincing, and I would have been convinced myself had I not heard what I'd heard.
I let her leave while I stayed with Charlize and 'Zack'. - For one thing, because I knew she was after some alone-time with Raiden, but also for another reason: Water. Anemone was soon in the ocean, fading into the watery distance.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy swimming as much as the next person - When I'm already wet, that is! - It's just the 'getting wet' bit I hate: So much time and effort involved in getting dry again afterward...
I padded along beside the two as they headed slowly over toward where drinks were being dispensed...
<Well that was exciting, wasn't it!?> I half-asked, half-exclaimed. I realized it was the first time I'd 'spoken' in quite a while, so I re-introduced myself for the benefit of the newly-arrived Headmaster: <Hi. My name is Felix Felicis, but most people call me 'Phil'. Feel free to do the same yourselves. I gather from your earlier introductions to each-other that your names are Zack and Charlize, and that the people that just left us are called Raiden and Anemone? - He's your brother, right Charlize? - I am indeed a new student here, as Raiden apparently already knew. Technically I'm a 'Meta-Feline', though all that essentially means is that I can shape-shift into the form of any breed of cat, with a bit of practise, and that what you see in front of you is my natural form. Mum says eventually I'll also be able to take on a human form, but my abilities haven't matured enough yet. I hear you're the Headmaster of Kosaka Acadamy?> I asked, directing this last question at Zack alone, <I'd shake your hand, Sir, if I only had one of my own with which to do so. As it is, all I can offer is a paw.> And I did so, proffering my right front paw to him much like a pet dog might do.

Everything was confusing. Every thought, every action seemed to contradict what Raiden had originally said. Anemone wasn't sure what was going through his head. She wasn't even sure what was going through hers. She had hope on her side and her persistance and stubbornness. She could keep pushing if Raiden insisted on trying to convince her he was the wrong kind of person for her. But that led to the risk of pushing him further away.
The moment his arms unwrapped from around her, Anemone braced her body for a wave of cold air to attack her. She was sure he would step away, leave, not wanting to deal with her weakness so was surprised to feel his hands around her face, making her face rise up from its position in her chest. She moved it with very little difficulty, the hard part was bringing herself to make eye contact. She kept her eyes above his at first, keeping her gaze focused on his ears, only allowing herself to look lower when his thumb brushed away her tears from her cheeks. She wanted to smooth out the crease between his eyebrows, disliking the knowledge that she was the reason for it, but she didn't dare move. She thought if she did Raiden would disapper.
As much as she wanted to reply when he spoke her name, she held herself back, satisfying herself by shifting barely an inch closer. Him saying her name fully was a rare occourance as it was, this time it made her rapidly beating heart skip once and she struggled to breathe. His troubled expression made her sure that the final blow, the debilitating one, the one that would break her into tiny broken pieces was coming, that he was going to confirm that no matter how much she pleaded they wouldn't happen.
The waiting was unbearable, it must have only been seconds but they passed so slowly, dragging on like hours. Even as he shifted, his discomfort evident in his body language and his face Anemone stayed perfectly stationary, thinking if she moved her schooled expression would crack and she would break down.
Inside her stomach twisted uncomfortably making it feel like she was going to be sick. The aching in her chest was now a throbbing pain, shaking her core like it was an animal trying to break out of a cage. If this is what it felt like to be on the brink of loosing someone you cared about, Anemone never wanted to visit this place again. The pain was unbearable, the ache, the unrelenting waves of agony that rippled down her limbs making even her fingers hurt. She knew as soon as Raiden confirmed her belief and disappeared she would collapse to the floor, her body unable to take the strain.
When Raiden closed his eyes, Anemone traced the contours of his face with her eyes, wanting to imprint them in her memory. Though this ritual stopped abruptly as the gap closed and Raiden's lips were against hers. Anemone's eyes came to a close and try and she might she couldn't stop her limbs moving, her arms - which had dropped to her sides - encircled his neck one hand brushing up into his silver hair, resting on the back of his head. Their bodies came into contact when she stepped forward, and Anemone tried to convey everything she was feeling into the kiss, her desperation to keep him close, the pain she felt, and how much she wanted him.
More tears were coming, and Anemone's breathing hitched in her throat, causing her to hiccup on what might have been a sob. This caused her to break the kiss and to hide herself she buried her face in the crook of Raiden's neck, breathing slowly to force the emotion away. She managed to inhale, letting his familiar smell enter and fill her head, warming her for a moment from her head to her toes. Anemone sighed, still hiding her face, she didn't know what the kiss meant. Had he reconsidered? Or was he still trying to let her down, trying to ease his own guilt. It was hard to find the words to ask. So she simply managed to whisper, "reconsider" against his neck.
---
Apparently Honey was someone who didn't like her laugh. For some reason this amused Frick further and he grinned to himself as she eyed him incredulously, remarking that he was the first to think she had a cute laugh. He simply shrugged, "it gives you character." It was a truth. Having an interesting laugh, or sneeze or even cough helped increase the character of people. It also proved to be a talking point.
He made no big deal of her gratitude, after all he was under the impression anyone else would have done the same. But he nodded at her all the same while they continued their rounds. The students all seemed to be having a good time, and apart from the odd idiot who had over done it on the alcohol, nothing seemed to be going wrong. Which was a good thing as far as Frick was concerned. The first school part, he didn't really like the idea of all hell breaking loose. Maybe when it was the end of the year, when the students were letting off steam. But not right at the beginning.
He glanced at Honey as she questioned about whether parties were usually so calm and shrugged. "I guess we have good students." He murmured, "almost sounds like you want something to happen, some trouble to occ-" there was a loud crackling sound from across the beach and a squeal of fright cutting through Frick's sentance. The noise made his flesh turn cold.
"Speak of the devil"
---
The loud explosion that echoed across the beach had come from one very angry person. With lighting balls fizzing dangerously in her hands, Silver looked about ready to murder someone. So far she hadn't. The boy who had stupidly tried to force alcohol down her throat was now being tended to by friends as he struggled to get up from the sand, his body still trembling with suffused electric power.
Silver had better things to do than be here. She had ignore the telepathic message, but could not ignore the call of her Gargoyle companion who had disappeared to warm himself inside the bonfire as soon as it had been lit. Silver was here only to keep an eye on him, she was not here to socialise. So as soon as a group of inebriated teenagers had taken it upon themselves to try their luck her patience had worn incredibly thin very quickly and she had reacted the only way she knew how - with violence.
One of the boy's friends, a boy entirely green with leaves sprouting from his head where hair should have been levelled her with a dangerous glare. "Bitch! What did y'do that for?!" He had sobered up very rapidly like the rest of his companions. "He was just having some fun!" He opened his hands and several long thorns slipped out of hidden openings in his wrists.
Silver simply stared at him boredly, the crackling thunder in her hands transforming into ball of blazing flame. She held one hand up and smiled nastily, "do you really want to chance it?"
