Raiden hadn’t fully realised the extent of Anemone’s own feelings towards him. He was furious that it took for her to be shaking in his arms, crying, for him to realise that she did truly in fact want to be with him. She truly thought that he was good for her.
And It was only now, with Anemone curled in his arms - fragile and soft that he realised her couldn’t bare her hurt, her pain. He hated the very thought of her suffering. He especially hated that she was in pain because of him. Because he was being stupidly stubborn. Because he was afraid.
A dark growl echoed loudly in the far corner of his mind when he realised that Anemone was only suffering because of his stupid insecurities. He could make this so much easier for her - so much easier for them both If he’d just stop thinking.
If being with him was what made Anemone happy then he wouldn’t deny her that. Especially when it was what he wanted too - no matter how much he stubbornly tried to deny it.
When Anemone managed to whisper a quiet, ‘Reconsider’, that to him sounded louder than the sound of his own heartbeat - he caved. Seeing and hearing Anemone so fragile and broken was something he found extremely hard to bare. He’d rather suffer through his own fears and insecurities then ever have to see Anemone in this state. Compared to her pain, his insecurities and worries were nothing at all.
“Okay..” He breathed finally.
Raiden shifted then, moving so that a considerable amount of space was left between himself and Anemone. In that moment he took in Anemone’s dishevelled appearance. Her pink eyes that were beginning to redden at the edges due to her crying - her flushed cheeks and the shallow, shaky breaths she drew. It was hard to fight back the over-whelming urge he felt to take her into his arms - to protect her. But he wanted her to see his face. To see that he was serious about the decision he was making - to be with her.
“Okay.” He repeated more firmly, trying to convey in his eyes what he couldn’t manage through facial expressions or words - That he wanted to be with her.
((OOC: Sorry for the lame post. Will post my other charries soon))

Feeling so pathetic and needy wasn't something Anemone was used to. It was more common for her to be standing on her own two feet. To be headstrong and self-reliant. This new and uncomfortable feeling of needing and wanting someone so badly that it hurt was hard to deal with, and hard to understand. It didn't explain itself, or the brutal attacks on her emotional state - it was just there waiting to be quelled.
Raiden was a riddle at the best of times, is was difficult to consider what his mind was cooking up for him to say. What he was deciding. As much as she hated to admit it, she was thinking it would be the choice she didn't want him to make. She had convinced herself as much, and was inwardly trying to tell herself that if that was his choice then she would have to accept it. Accept his wants and just hope he was happy in the long run. That was what you did with people you cared for, wasn't it? Respected them and their wishes, even if what they wanted broke you apart.
However when Raiden's simple 'okay' echoed in her ears, Anemone allowed a tiny sliver of hope to ignite. And while she was unwilling to release him, she did retract her shaking limbs disliking the cool air that invaded the space Raiden had occupied when he shifted and increased a space between them.
Being under scrutiny had never been something Anemone enjoyed, now it was ten times worse. She hated to think what she looked like. Disheveled and trying to suppress her body trembling. Probably puffy eyed, with blotchy red cheeks, no doubt she was a real picture, yet she refused to look away from Raiden while he examined her. The only change in her appearance was that she bit she lower lip into her mouth, betraying her unease further.
It felt like time had slowed down before he spoke again, reiterating one word which made Anemone's heart rate increase again.
She kept her immediate desire to believe him unquestionably at bay for the moment, carefully examining his face while crossing the space. Once directly adjacent she remained stationary, still resisting temptation to touch or show any kind of affection to him under she was sure. She surveyed his expression with quizzical eyes, trying to make out his expression which was as usual perfectly blank.
It was his eyes that conveyed what he was unable to express in words or expressions. For once his defenses were down enough allowing Anemone to glimpse the meaning behind his simple statement, that while he was no doubt going to wrestle with this choice, that he was willing to be with her, it was the choice he was making. That it was what he wanted.
Still unsure, Anemone managed a smile - small, cautious but still genuine while closing the gap further. She caulked her head to one side, simultaneously slipping her hands up to his face with a timidity she hadn't felt before. While it was more tempting to kiss him, Anemone held off for the moment, satisfying her need to put across her affection and gratitude by just bumping her nose against his as she exhaled a long breath she had been holding unconsciously.
"You're sure? ...We're not going to go through this again tomorrow? I don't think I could take it." Anemone said seriously, still cautious but allowing the tiny flame of hope that had ignited earlier to grow a tiny bit bigger.

Honey had begun to smile when Frick mentioned that it sounded as though she wanted something to happen. It was half true - she expected something to happen. It seemed her expectations were quick to be met when a loud crackling sound ripped out into the nights air, freezing Honey’s expression in place. The blonde couldn’t help but think she’d jinxed the party by voicing her concern for the lack of violence and drama. Honey was mindlessly crossing the sand in an instant, heading toward the source of the squeal. It wasn’t hard to find the scene, a crowd of teenagers was already beginning to form in a semi-circle. “G-guys.” Honey started once she had broken through the crowd and hurriedly stepped between the pair of angry teenagers. Her large brown eyes quickly surveyed the situation, taking in her surroundings. A few feet away was a male crumpled on the floor, already being attended to by two other young boys, his friends she guessed, who were glaring daggers at the person on Honeys right. Following their stares, her eyes turned to land on a very angry looking female, poised and ready to strike. “Let’s just calm down.” She pressed on firmly, glancing in turn between the female and male stood in the centre of everyone’s attention. Honey was perfectly aware that she hardly seemed at all intimidating, her voice was quiet and her expression tight with worry rather than serious. The leafy haired teen seemed to agree because he barked out a laugh and ordered her out of the way as if he were talking to another student. ____________ Raiden waited, his expression smooth but his maroon eyes unusually expressive as Anemone absorbed the fact that he did want to be with her. A cool breeze tickled the tips of Raiden’s ears as he watched Anemone’s expression carefully, he hadn’t realised he’d been holding back on his breath until Anemone smiled. The sight of her smile, through her tear stained face and red cheeks lifted a heavy weight from his chest and with that lifted weight came a strange peace of mind. Closing his eyes briefly when Anemone took his face in her hands and bumped her nose against his lightly, Raiden breathed a contented sigh. This new found peace of mind was extremely pleasant. Having Anemone close to him was also extremely pleasant. It was nice to actually think about having Anemone close without having hundreds of depressing thoughts weighing on his mind. A small-humourless-crooked smile pulled at the corners of his lips when Anemone questioned whether or not he’d turn right back around and claim that none of this had happened. He couldn’t blame her for her doubt. He never did make things easy for her. Pulling back his head so that he was stood up-right, Raiden again took Anemone’s face in his hands and gently turned her face so that their eyes met. “I will never put you through anything like this again.” He said every word slowly, purposefully. “ Ever.” He pressed, his expression tight and serious. He meant every word. _____________ Charlize grinned, flashing her pearly whites when Zack dismissed the alcohol issue. Mentally she noted that he was a pretty cool guy. Not every Head teacher would be so light about a party so close to the school never mind alcohol at said party. The pair trailed along at a leisurely pace and peacefully quiet. Which was odd. Charlize had never really been one for silence, especially when it came down to meeting new people - the silence was usually an awkward, strained one but this wasn’t. Charlize shrugged the thought away, deciding it was the calm atmosphere. “Hmm.” Charlize hummed in thought at Zacks question, pressing her finger to her chin. “Well if we’re having what J had..” She trailed off and grinned cheekily, not particularly caring about the fact that she really shouldn’t drink alcohol in front of the head teacher of all people. But Zack sort of didn’t seem like a teacher so she wasn’t fussed. When an excited voice popped into her head, Charlize paused in her walk, blinked and then looked down to see the same cat from earlier tagging along. Charlize half grinned and snorted a little, realising that Phil was referring to the earlier incident with Jason. “Sure, getting shocked was the best part.” She replied, a little sarcastic and a little playful. ‘Wow, he talks a lot.’ was the amused thought that danced through Charlize’s mind as Phil rambled on to Zack, but still allowing her to hear his thought-speech. The blue-nette had to fight back an overwhelming urge to squeal in delight when Phil offered his paw to Zack. “Ohmygod.” She blurted out, unable to contain herself. “You are so cute!” She gushed, kneeling down to scratch at one of his ears. “Can I keep you?” She questioned playfully, giving him another gentle rub behind his ear before she regained some of her common sense and stood again. “Sorry.” She grinned sheepishly, “Impulsive urges are hard to control, Y’know?” smiling briefly at Phil and then Zack, Charlize headed over to the large sand castle that had been built around a keg and went about getting the beverages.

Silver had barely managed to stop herself from throwing a fire ball at the leafy teen before her. Threatening her indeed - what a joke. He really was gagging for it. Putting himself in the way, willing to die.
Pathetic.
She did stop however, when someone, a woman in a white t-shirt with large glass, tried to break it up. Rather feebly as it was. Try as she might to be firm and show some authority (Silver gathered from this she must have been a teacher of some kind - perhaps a substitute with little standing, hence her timidness) the earthen boy simply barked at her and demanded she move.
"Uh... Honey." Frick had followed her over, curious about the noise and wary. He had an idea who it was coming from - most Warlocks knew who had come up from below recently. It was big news among all Angels, Demons and half-ways. He personally didn't want to get involved, but liked the idea of Honey getting involved even less. So when the boy with leafy hair - Kyle, one of Frick's further chemistry students shoved her out of the way, Frick stepped in - towering over everyone else.
"All right, break it up. Break it the Hell up." He was ordering the students away, shooing them with overly violent waves of his hands. "You-" he rounded on Kyle, "get your friend out of here, and if I see you shove another teacher like that again - any teacher - and your fate is in my hands." He smirked, narrowing his eyes as a warning. "Now move."
"But-!"
"I said 'move'."
Kyle disappeared, his friend who was now standing but having trouble staying upright, and his two supportive posts followed. Rubbing one of his horns, Frick smiled briefly at Honey before turning to Silver - he was aware there were still students congregating around them, waiting to see if anything else would start up.
"I suppose you want me to apologise." Silver growled, extinguishing the ball of flame in her hand and folding her arms, "well you can hold your breath."
((Its weird writing these two in the same situation. I'll make her go off and do her own thing shortly.))
---
Hearing his words, so slow, thought out and full of meaning washed all fear of doubt and disbelief from Anemone's mind. The strong grip that had been squeezing her stomach the whole time suddenly released it, giving her a strong sense of ease as she turned her head slightly, grazing Raiden's palm with her lips.
While she could still feel the uncomfortable ache of hurt in her chest, it was no longer as pronounced, and was fading gradually as her heart rate slowed to a more normal cadence. her head was clearer and the tingling behind her eyes and nose had completely ceased to be. She was much calmer down - more coherant.
Turning her head back to face him, she smiled again, a little wider and breathed out slowly, releasing her body from its tense hold. "I believe you." She hummed, and nodded once for confirmation. Tilting her head forward she lef ther temple resting against Raiden's and sighed quietly.
"Now, I know how much you hate questions but I have two very important ones for you." Anemone said, wanting to lighten the mood a little, "what were your plans after this... conversation and can I come?"
She reached up, removing one of his hands from her facing, twining her fingers into Raiden's. "I don't think I could face masses of people now." She neglected to admit that she just wanted to stay close to Raiden for a while too, for her own sake more than anything. So she could quell and squash any remaining doubts lurking at the back of her mind.

Honey hadn’t expected the teen to shove her out of the way like he had, rough and uncaring. “Wait-!” Was all Honey had managed to squeak out before she’d stumbled across the sand, attempting to keep her balance. Frick came to the rescue then, towering over the students and ordering them away. The teen who had shoved her attempted to argue but once Frick bit out a sharp reply he hurried off. Honey frowned, Frick made it look so easy. She’d bet her left arm that the boy who had shoved her wouldn’t even dare think about laying one finger on Frick. But then - she couldn’t imagine anyone who would be silly enough to think about picking a fight with the Chemistry Professor. He was very tall and very intimidating - at least when he was angry. “Sorry.” Honey mumbled to Frick, visibly deflated by her poor attempt at trying to get a handle of the situation on her own. The blonde knew that it had been very foolish of her to rush into an unknown situation with angry metas - it seemed that her never ending quest to prove herself as a capable and competent professor hadn’t lessened any since she’d arrived at Kosaka. She’d been jumping at chances to prove her worth ever since she had arrived - a lot of the times she ended up making the situations worse. That or she’d completely embarrass herself. Sometimes it was both. The girl who had been in the nearly-fight glowered, obviously still angry, as she put out the flame that had been in her hand. Honey glanced up at Frick from the corner of her eye, wondering if he had anything to say to the female. It was only then when she lifted her hand to push her glasses up her nose that she realised they were missing. “Uh..” Blinking slowly, the blonde glanced around the sand, hoping to spot her spectacles. _________________ The change in Anemone was almost instant once he had reassured her that he wouldn’t hurt her again. He was relieved to see some life flood back into her face, mentally wincing again when he noted how much he must have hurt her for her to be affected so much that her appearance had suffered. ‘Never again.’ He promised himself, his lips pulling into a tight, determined line. When Anemone pressed her temple to his, he breathed in her scent and leaned into her a little, internally marvelling at the deep satisfaction that had settled itself through out his entire body. It was odd - not something he’d felt before. The feeling scared him a little but only because it was new - foreign. The Hanyou pulled back and rolled his half-heartedly at Anemone’s questions, his fingers unconsciously squeezing around hers firmly. He lowered his other hand from her face and turned his head toward the ocean. “I was going to head back to the school.” He explained simply, shrugging a broad shoulder. He had lied earlier when he’d said that he had better things to do. Well - it wasn’t so much of a lie because anything was better than hanging around horny inebriated teenagers. But he didn’t have anything specific planned. “Did you want to do something?” He questioned, his gaze staring out across the ocean. His awkward attempt at offering himself up for anything she wanted to do, in his own words, was obvious. This whole thing - spending time with Anemone - was going to take a little getting used to. He didn’t mind so much but he thought that she might. He wasn’t the most exciting person to hang around with.

Frick heard Honey's apology, but wanted to get rid of the short brunette first who was still visibly fuming. He was immensely taller, which gave him an edge, and it was fairly obvious she was backing down unwillingly. The posture had become more defensive, and she was unable to maintain eye contact - both dead give aways.
"I suggest," Frick began steadily, "you disappear from here, unless you intend to behave."
"I'm not a child." Silver growled back.
"I don't care who or what you are. You do not start fights with other students, intent on murdering them. Now move it."
Silver shrugged a shoulder and turned on her heel. The was no point trying to argue, or snap a retort, or even glare. The tall Warlock wasn't going to back down, and she now had no interest in this. There was little chance of bloodshed, or causing trouble, and it appeared little point. Many of the students were so over-whelmingly drunk it would have been an easy win for her - which was never enjoyable.
"You're a waste of my time anyway." Silver muttered, kicking her way over the sand towards the bonfire. Thanoss wasn't leaving anytime soon - which meant Silver wasn't either.
Once the irate girl was out of sight, Frick breathed out slowly and relaxed. Trouble seemed to have been diverted for the time being, hopefully nothing more would happen with her. Turning to look for Honey, he glanced around unable to see her at her usual height, his eyes landing on her white t-shirted form on the sand.
Frick squatted. "You okay? That kid shoved you pretty rough." He asked and managed a small grin, "good on you for trying to sort out the ruckus though - that takes guts. To be honest I didn't expect you to run head first into trouble. You're just full of surprises." Realising he was rambling, Frick started to follow Honey's darting eyes that were focused on the sand.
In the trouble, most likely when she'd been shoved her glasses had slipped off her face and now appeared to be missing. "I better not move, I don't wanna step on your glasses with my big feet." He started moving sand, trying to assist her.
---
It was difficult to not find Raiden's eyeroll amusing. He had commented, plenty of times before, that she asked too many questions but that wasn't about to change. It was just part of Anemone's nature. He just had to accept it, in the same way she had to accept he was going to be awkward and unsure about things - about them for a while. Still as his fingers squeezed around her, Anemone's smile increased a little and the familiar feeling of her markings lighting up warmer her skin.
In normal circumstances this would have embarrassed and annoyed her, but for the moment she was willing to just let it happen. It was her body's way of saying that she was alright and that she was currently filled with one prevailing emotion, affection, for the time being.
Anemone followed Raiden's eyes across the beach while they stared out over the ocean and nodded again as he mentioned returning to the school, and while him proffering himself to her, asking if there was anything she wanted to do, was a sweet gesture, she shook her head, tugging on his hand.
"Nothing. The school's fine with me, I could do with freshening up anyway... I doubt I'm really looking my best." She managed a small grin, trying to make light of the dry tears on her face that were still making her skin feel tight, "and if most of the faculty and students are down here we could... uhm... y'know, hang out. Or something..." Anemone shrugged, as it was now her turn to be awkward, "like in your ... room or something." She fiddled with the front of her hair as a distraction, kicking the sand with her toes, ducking her head in an attempt to hide her blush.

Honey had fallen to her knees in search of her glasses, forgetting both Frick and the student for the moment. Her hands danced across the sand, digging and shuffling around the area she had stumbled across earlier. ‘Where are they?’ The large glasses had to be here somewhere. “Yeah, I'm okay.” Honey paused in her search to offer Frick a grateful smile, one that clearly stated thank you, before her expression switched to one of surprise at his second comment. Falling back onto her haunches, momentarily stopping in her search, the blonde blushed a pretty pink. “Th-thanks.” Frick probably didn’t realise how exceedingly happy his comment had made her. But by the large grin now on her previously mope-y face he might have guessed. Moving to stand, Honey froze in place when she heard the distinct sound of glass breaking, her smile was quick to slip from her face. “Oh.. ” Frowning, the art professor shifted her weight quickly to see her glasses twisted into the sand where her knee had been. “..Crap.” Honey rose to a stand, taking her damaged glasses with her. “Well.. I guess I’m going to need new glasses.” her attempt at making light of the situation didn’t help as she dusted off the sand with her fingers. These were her favourite glasses. She’d had them since High School and sure she didn’t have to wear glasses.. But.. They had been her grandmothers.. Sort of an heirloom. ‘And now they’re broken..’With a frown, Honey hooked the twisted glasses on the neckline of her shirt - just because they were damaged didn’t mean she couldn’t keep them. _______________ It was only when Anemone began to ramble, nervous and awkward that Raiden turned to glance at her. The corner of his lips quirked up ever so slightly when she ducked her head and began to kick at the sand. The word adorable came to mind. Though that thought made the Hanyou grimace. He wasn’t quite used to thinking words such as adorable and.. Cute and.. Girlfriend.Yes, Anemone was his girlfriend. He groaned inwardly. Somehow the word girlfriend didn’t seem to fit. Not because his stomach churned with what he hated to describe as butterflies, another groan, but because the word didn’t seem enough. Girlfriend didn’t describe what Anemone was to him well enough. But what word would be enough? What word could justify what she was to him? Raiden mulled over that for a moment, eventually coming up blank. He didn’t know because he still wasn’t sure what Anemone was to him - all of this was new and it was going to take some getting used to - he didn’t have to think of a word right now. For the moment she was his and that was definition enough. “Okay.” He spoke finally, “If you don’t mind missing the party..” He frowned and eyed her out of the corner of his eye, watching her face closely to see any signs that might hint at her wanting to return to the bonfire. He didn’t want her to think she had to stick around him or anything.

Why was she grinning? Honey's huge smile, though pretty, confused Frick somewhat. He didn't know what he'd said to illict such a reaction. Obviously something she approved of hugely otherwise her grin wouldn't be so big. Frick smiled back though, brushing his fingers across the sane in an attempt to help look for her glasses. "No problem... I think. I guess you're not used to people commenting on your bravery, huh?" He shrugged a shoulder, ceasing his looking when he heard the sound of glass cracking. He looked to Honey's knee while she gingerly fingered the now broken spectecles and rose to her feet. Frick followed. "Aw crap, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have distracted you." Frick apologised, scratching at a horn nervously. He figured Honey was trying to make light of the situation. Frick didn't want to. He didn't know whether she could actually see without them. And he felt bad about it. Her face wasn't exactly happy, in fact she looked downright miserable. The total opposite to seconds before. "Do you think you can get them fixed?" he asked, watching as she placed them in the neck of her shirt. "If its only the lenses then it shouldn't be too expensive." Frick said, trying to clutch at straws to help, he didn't like Honey's fallen expression. It didn't suit her, and he liked even less, that he had something to do with it. If he hadn't been babbling she would have been concentrating on finding her glasses and wouldn't have knelt on them. "I know a good place in town, I got my glasses fixed there when one of the legs fell off. They're inexpensive, and they have a good range if you want to look into getting a new set." He shrugged again, feeling a bit helpless, "sorry." --- Anemone had been occupied with a shell in the sand, and kicking the sand off of it, so she could better make out the shape and pattern while Raiden had thought over her rather awkward and tentative suggestion. She was probably going to have to step carefully for a while. She had said she believed Raiden when he said he wouldn't hurt her again, and that was true. Never a truer word spoken. But that still didn't mean she wasn't allowed to be concerned. Raiden was changable at the best of times, and not at all social. She would have to lay off a bit - this was going to be something he'd have to get used to. She wouldn't crowd him, or demand his attention or affection. She'd take this at his pace. It'd be easier that way. She looked up as Raiden spoke and shook her head, "no. One guy leering over me is quite enough for one party thanks." Anemone grinned a little, "do you want to go say bye to Charlize? What is she, a sister? Cousin? Why'd she call you Dusk anyway?" Pausing, Anemone shooked her head, allowing a sheepish grin to slip into view. "Sorry - too many questions." She started again, "do you want to say bye to Charlize? I can wait by your bike... uh... if you tell me where it is?" ((Ehhh... lame. Sorries! ))

Raiden lightly brushed a thumb over one of the glowing patterns that adorn Anemone’s skin. He hadn’t a chance to actually touch them - well he had - but he hadn’t exactly been himself then. He growled suddenly, his eyes narrowing into a sharp glare at Anemone’s dismissive comment about the incident with Jason earlier. Raiden hadn’t liked the drunken teenager leering all over her. Touching her. It had nearly been enough to send him into a fit of envious rage. Which wouldn’t have gone down well. At all. Still, the Jock had better make sure he didn’t cross Raiden again - he wasn’t sure he’d be able to control his anger so well next time. Pushing angry thoughts to the back of his mind, Raiden held back a sigh at Anemone’s questions, but then quirked a small smile. It was evident that she was attempting to bite back her urge to ask question after question. Curiosity was evidently a part of her nature - something he was going to have to get used to. Better to start now rather than later. “You can ask me questions.” He said casually, looking elsewhere. “Charlize is my sister.” The Hanyou went on to explain, as he began leading Anemone over to the rocks that cut the cove off from the rest of the beach. Question one answered. “She probably thinks that I’ve already left.” He shrugged, stopping in their walk once they had reached the rocks. Sweeping Anemone up into his arms, bridal style, Raiden darted up the boulders with ease, landing in the sand on the other side in a matter of seconds. Placing Anemone down, Raiden took her hand again and began to lead the way to his motorbike. “My name.” He said after a few moments of silence. His eyes had been darting around, checking to see if anyone had strayed near the rocks - he didn’t want to be caught out and have Anemone get into trouble and his cover blown. They were alone. Which meant he was free to stay by her side and keep her hand in his. “My real name is Dusk.” He explained. They were off of the beach now, approaching his black motorcycle. Raiden kept a hold of Anemone’s hand once they had reached his bike, only letting to go so that he could pick up the dark helmet from his seat. “Here.” He offered the tall teen before moving to take a seat on the bike. “Hop on.” _______________ Honey was aware that Frick was speaking, trying to cheer her up and although she wanted to say 'thankyou' and tell him that he didn’t need to worry over something so small - she couldn’t quite find her voice. ‘Oh, snap out of it!’ She scolded herself, the crease between her eyebrows deepening. ‘They are only glasses, Honey. Granma’s glasses.. But just a material possession. It is not the end of the world.’ Closing her eyes, the blonde inhaled through her nose deeply before blowing out the air with a sharp ‘whoosh’ from her lips. A few moments passed. Blinking open her chocolate brown eyes, Honey smiled sheepishly at the tall Warlock. “I’m sorry.” She apologised for her little moment of depression. He must have thought she was crazy. Was there any point in getting upset over such old, out of fashion glasses? Probably not. “ You don’t have to apologise. This sort of stuff happens, right?” a small smile spread across her face then and she shrugged her shoulders lightly, idly brushing a loose lock of hair behind her ear. “I’ll see about getting them fixed.” Swinging her arms behind her back, Honey laced her fingers together and cocked her head to the side, observing Frick with open curiosity. “You have horns.” She stated dumbly and then as if suddenly realising her statement, chuckled nervously. “I mean - I’ve never really noticed them.. Before..” It usually wasn’t hard to notice when a guy had horns on his head. But this was the first time Honey was actually looking Frick direct in the face - her nervousness and shyness was beginning to vanish - so she didn’t feel all that afraid to make eye contact. "Are you-" She stopped short then, unsure about how to word her question. "Um.. are you a meta?"

Anemone managed not to jump feeling Raiden's thumb move over one of her markings. It seemed he didn't get the same violent reaction as he had been before and this she was pleased about. But just beause he made no reaction, didn't mean she wasn't affected. Simple touches sent her pulse racing. She went to speak, beaten by a low growl emitting from Raiden's throat.
For a moment she stiffened, worried she had done something to annoy or anger him, especially as the glare slipped into view. "Sorry..." she apologised - not entirely sure what she was to be apologising for. Maybe it was the questions that were annoying him. Noting a small smile appearing on his features, she squeezed her fingers around Raiden's and glanced back at the water, catching a glimpse of the orange spots of Fossu's dorsal fin.
As Raiden started walking, Anemone followed a pace or two behind, listening as he spoke, surprising her as he answered her questions. So Charlize was his sister, that explained the huge hug she had given him earlier. It was oddly nice for Anemone at least, to know Raiden had siblings also. Certainly not as many as she did, but it was something they had in common.
"Well," Anemone murmured as Raiden came to a stop, "maybe you coul-ah!" Anemone squeaked loudly, automatically flinging her arms around Raiden's neck as her feet left the ground. Her surprise gave way to giggling while Raiden hopped over the boulders easily. As he let her down again onto the sand, Anemone swept her hair back. "That was fun." She grinned, squeezing Raiden's hand again.
She remained silent the rest of the way, letting Raiden finish answering her questions as his bike came into view, and simply enjoying his company. The party was still in full swing, music louder now they were away from the seclusion of the cove. No doubt more people had arrived since she and Raiden had disappeared.
"Dusk." Anemone repeated, trying the name out. She squinted at him, trying to get used to the name. "It suits you." Taking the helmet, she waited for Raiden to get on. She now had more questions - but they could wait until they were back at the school and could talk freely without risk of being caught.
Pulling the helmet on over her head, she climbed on behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Okay. Lets go!" She automatically squeezed her eyes tight before the bike started moving. She hoped if she kept her eyes closed the bike wouldn't seem to be going that fast.

Frick didn't like the silence that dragged on. It was difficult to deal with, more so when he had the horrible feeling Honey was about to start crying. He was a weakling when it came to women crying. he really had no apptitude for dealing with them when they started weeping. He just... hated it. Always said the wrong thing.
He waited longer, considering speaking until Honey muttered a small 'I'm sorry'. Frick glanced at her as Honey seemed to have gathered herself together. Either that or she'd mentally made herself get together, and would fall to pieces later in private.
"Yeah... it happens. But I tend to apologise for everything. Arila used to say it was one of my worst traits." Frick explained, pausing uneasily as he noted he'd just mentioned her. He sighed a little, ignoring the small pang in his chest and decided it would be best to just brush that little slip of the tongue under the carpet. "Tell me when you want to get them fixed, I'll show you the place in town."
Glancing across the party abmosphere for a minute, Frick stopped, looking dead into the bonfire flames as Honey mentioned his horns. She hadn't noticed them? He thought they were the most obvious thing in the world. They were always there, apart from two weeks of the year.
"I'm amazed. They're usually the first thing anyone notices about me... well - minus the height thing." Frick grinned, returning his gaze to Honey. He tilted his head to one sie, being rather surprised to see her making direct eye contact. He noted the shade of her eyes and the shade of her face, everything seemed to fit her appearance very well.
"I'm not a meta. I'm a Warlock." Frick explained, "well... I'm three-quarters Warlock and quarter shapeshifter. My grams was a shapeshifter. I can't fully shift or anything. Just parts of my body. It kind of hurts though, I don't like doing it." He grinned sheepishly. Shifting was one thing he had never really got to grips with, despite constant teaching from his grandmother.
"You're meta though right?" He requested, "anything else you can do, except turn see through?"

Honey smiled sheepishly, again feeling a little stupid that she hadn’t noticed his horns at all before now. Shifting her weight onto her left leg, Honey was surprised to find that Frick was a Warlock - not that she knew anything about Warlocks at all - but it was still very interesting. Even more interesting that he was a quarter shape-shifter. Honey had never seen anyone shape shift before and so instantly her interest was piqued. “Uh-huh.” Honey smiled up at Frick and went on after his second question. “Um.. Well. It’s kind of weird.” the sheepish smile was back again. “I can - sort of.. Dream walk. I mean.. I can enter another persons mind when I’m asleep, as long as they‘re asleep.” She shrugged. “So-” she started fanning her face with her hand. It felt like it was getting a lot warmer out. “Did.. You want to do anything?” She questioned and dropped her hand. _________ ((OOC: Sorry for the lame post, Silver. ))

Frick nodded as Honey explained her other power. Dream walking. Not one he'd ever come across before. It sounded quite interesting. Frick liked mental powers like that. He'd always wanted one, to be able to hear people's thoughts or something like that. He always thought it would be useful - and insightful.
"You must have seen some weird dreams." Frick commented, "is it a random selection thing? Or do you have the ability to pick the person whose dreams your observe?" He was asking mostly out of interest, but also for clarification. In case it was random... so he could see if there was a way he could avoid his dreams being walked in on. Not that he had awful dreams - well, not usually. Just lately he'd had a few horrific ones. "Also... what happens if someone wakes up while you're in their dream? Do you have to stay in there? That would be weird."
Letting his eyes wander from Honey as she asked if there was anything he wanted to do, he looked around the bustling party. He could barely tell one body from the next. More people were diving into the alcohol. He was hoping it would run out soon. He didn't want to have to nurse anyone throwing up, or drag groups of drunken students back up to the school. He didn't feel much like walking.
In fact he didn't feel much like standing either. Wandering around to Honey's side, Frick flopped back and landed with a soft 'thud' on the sand. "Nah. I'm happy here." He grinned up at her, "unless you wanted to do some mingling? I'm cool if you do. I'm not the most exciting person to talk to."

Zack was hearing voices. And he had finally gone crazy. All that coffee and paperwork had finally eaten through his brain and drove the headmaster absolutely insane. He looked over at Charlize, half hoping that she could hear this voice and half expecting her to question him about his staring.
With the question posed about Zack's position at the academy, he finally noticed the cat. It was apparently the source of the voice in his head and Zack looked relieved. While he wasn't necessarily a fan of cats, he was just happy that the talking cat was the voice in his head. And that he wasn't crazy.
"Uh yeah. I'm the headmaster." He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and looked down at this Felix. He had a paw extended and Zack took it hesitantly. Zack was very much a dog kind of guy. Cats were never his forte. Too temperamental and finicky for his tastes. But he thought it would be rude to simply ignore Felix because of his own distaste.
Charlize seemed completely enamoured to him and it made him smile softly. She certainly was something else. Definitely different than the other girls around the school. Zack ruffled his hair a bit and followed Charlize toward the sand castle that housed the keg. Well wasn't that convienent? He began helping her with the drinks. "So, what brought you to Kosaka?" He directed his question to Charlize and smiled as he went about his work and waited for her response.

Honey chuckled lightly at Frick’s comment. Weird dreams might have been putting it lightly. “Both. I can enter a persons dream of my own free will.. If that person is in close proximity. If they’re further away, I need a personal possession of theirs - a photo normally helps.” She explained, smiling briefly at Frick. “But.. Most of the time I find myself randomly tumbling into another persons dream. Again, I’ve noticed that they have to be in close proximity.” She glanced at Frick then, curious to see how he’d react to this news. She hadn’t accidentally stumbled into his mind - Yet. The only faculty members she had shared dreams with have been the beautifully intimidating Isobelle - Her dreams were interesting to say the least. Interesting but dark, Isobelle always appeared to be suffering in them - lost and alone and broken. Her mind was not a place Honey liked to visit. Raiden was the same too. His dreams - or rather nightmares, were not something she wished to see. It hurt her heart to think of their suffering. Zacks were much lighter - carefree - she quite liked his mind. It wasn’t so frightening. Casper’s were fun. Bright and interesting - she liked his mind too. The blonde frowned and lowered her gaze. She always felt incredibly intrusive when stumbling into another’s dreams. In their minds she could see truths that they may not have known - she could see their darkest secrets and their deepest fears - their true desires and true happiness‘s. She saw things that were incredibly private and it irked her. “Uh- but I’m pretty sure I haven’t been in your mind!” She said quickly after reading his expression. He didn’t look like he’d want her in his dreams. Which was fair. Most people wouldn’t want someone wandering around their minds - probing. And if they remembered their dreams and had noticed her presence, they often became annoyed with her. Not that she could help it. Honey really wished she had better control of her ‘gift’. “Um, no I wake up too - once they wake up.” She explained, tugging at the hem of her white shirt, only lifting her head when Frick moved to sit. “No.” Honey shook her head and joined Frick on the sand, pulling her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. “I’m happy here too.” She smiled and moved forward to rest her head on her knees. Silently, Honey wondered what time it was - and then how long the bonfire would last. Probably into the early hours of the morning. It must’ve been pretty late and the party was still in full swing. The pair sat in a silence Honey didn’t quite mind. After a few moments she turned her head so that her cheek rested against her knees and began to draw circles in the sand. Her index finger would change direction every now and then, drawing a new pattern into the soft gold. “What are you thinking about?” She asked suddenly, flickering her gaze from the sand to Frick and then back again. _______________ Charlize turned her head to see Zack arrived at her side, and smiled, shrugging her shoulders briefly in response to his question. “It’s.. sort of extremely complicated.” she chuckled nervously as she filled a plastic red cup. Why she had come to Kosaka wasn’t something she liked to think about. Because it made her think of the events that had led up to her becoming a student at the school. It made her think of Emilia. Charlize grimaced and stopped her thoughts there before they developed any further. Tonight was the night to think of anything that could send her into a bout of depression. “Hey, Phil?” She glanced back at the cat, “Do you - uh.. Want a drink?” She questioned warily, unsure on whether or not he’d actually want alcohol. Or how he’d go about drinking it. It wasn’t like there were any kitty-dishes lying around. Pushing a lock of hair behind her ear, Charlize took two mouthfuls from her plastic cup and then turned her attention back to Zack. “What about you?” She asked and turned to face the taller man. “ Head teacher of a new school. A school that a lot of humans want to fail.” She rolled her eyes then but still kept her grin. “Pretty big responsibility.”

Frick listened intently as Honey explained her ability to dream walk. It did sound as fantastical as every other mental power Frick had ever come across. Mental powers were always interesting. More subtle and crafty than physical powers like his. Frick liked his powers, but he often felt they were crude or crass. Nothing he could do about it though. No Warlocks had mental powers. So he was stuck.
"I see..." Frick said after a time. He considered where his room was in relation to Honey's. He also wondered whomelse's dreams she had accidently stumbled into. All the teachers had rooms fair close to each other. The only person who didn't was Nimah, and that was because she slept on the top floor - something about being close to the sky. It was no doubt inevitable she would tumble in to his troubled sleep at some point.
He quirked a small grin at Honey as she rushed to confess doubt of ever entering his mind. He shook his head, "don't worry if you do... my dreams aren't that interesting. I just wouldn't want you to have to see some of the depressing stuff that crops up in my head." The small grin became a little bigger, but slightly pained. Dropping his head, Frick leaned back on his hands and stared hard at his knees.
Out of the corner of his eye he watched Honey trace intricate patterns in the sand and found himself smiling. You could tell she was an artist from the way she held her fingers, and also the ease of which patterns seemed to take shape into something recognisable. He liked that. That was also what his mother liked about artists. She was a collector of paintings by the impressionist, had been sicne Frick had been a child. Their house was littered with prints and sketchs and watercolours. Frick hadn't ever really seen the point of them - they were pretty, but nothing spectacular, he preferred things that were tangiable. But they were his mother's passion, so he never said anything.
Looking up as Honey asked what he was thinking, Frick felt his mouth drop open a little and an unfamiliar feeling of a blush attacking his face. "Uhm..." Frick stumbled, trying to make hi mind reorganise itself. He wasn't used to people asking what he was thinking. He had got out of the habit of answering when with Arila - generally because anything he said, she would tease him about.
He doubted Honey would tease him though so sighed quietly, "home." He said finally, looking up at the sky, "I haven't been back for a while... I guess I miss my parents a bit. They're nuts, but they're good folks." He smirked to himself, a picture conjuring up in his mind of the typial evening at his house. "My dad's probably sitting up with his telescope about now - he's determined to find a star and name it after my mother before he dies. Mom... mom is probably sitting in the living room, wrapped up in a book. Curled up in the big arm chair like a cat."
Sighing again, he turned his gaze back to Honey, smiling gently, "what about your folks? What'd they be doing about now?"
