Charlize growled angrily, she lay face down on a blue mat in the schools gym, having just been thrown to the floor by her brother, Raiden.
She was still for a whole second before she hopped up onto her feet. Her golden eyes glared darkly at the male stood a few feet across from her, a smug smirk on his face. Oh how she wanted to smack it from his face.
Lifting an arm, the blue-nette used the back of her hand to wipe the corner of her mouth. Blood smeared across the white fighting bandages that were wrapped tight around her hands.
“T’cha! You made me bleed!” She hissed, still angry. Her glare was sharp and accusing.
Raiden shrugged his broad shoulders, his smug smirk still etched into his face. “No holding back, remember?” Except he had been holding back. He hadn’t meant to draw blood. He would never fight against his little sister with his full strength. He knew she had been holding back too. But being on the receiving end of her sharp glare made him think that she wouldn’t be holding back anymore.
Cussing under her breath, Charlize stretched her arms out across her chest, her eyes never leaving Raiden. “Again.” Their movements were fast, blurred to the un-trained eye. Charlize came at Raiden from all angles, throwing punches and kicks. He dodged each of them, snickering and laughing loudly when Charlize would stumble across the mat from one of his blocks and curse louder than his laugh. She swore more than any man he knew when she was angry. It only made him laugh harder.
Charlize didn’t find it amusing. In fact she was getting pretty damn pissed off with his taunting laughter and the superior-smug smirk he wore.
“Tch.” She blew out a puff of hot hair from her lips, blowing wild stands of hair from her face. Her cheeks were flushed and a thin layer of sweat coated her face. She wasn’t tired, just hot. Raiden on the other hand looked as though he hadn’t lifted a finger. His stance was casual and Charlize knew he wasn’t trying, not really.
Glancing to the side, Charlize swept her eyes over the small crowd of people that had paused in their own training to watch them spar. She recognised a few of them. A couple of professors and a handful of students. It was then Charlize was struck with a thought, a sly smile slipped onto her face and she flickered her eyes to Raiden. He was stood still, waiting. He hadn’t noticed her change in demeanour.
‘I’m gonna have to fight dirty.’
“Again.” She growled lightly, biting back her smile. Raiden shrugged his shoulders lazily and Charlize narrowed her eyes.
She shot at her brother again though just before she reached him she stumbled to a halt her expression slipping into one of shocked-horror, her eyes stared past Raiden and too the large Gym doors. “Oh my god, Anemone!?” She cried.
Raiden turned his head. Charlize grinned like a wicked demon, jumped into the air and slammed her knee into the side of Raiden’s head. The male Hanyou visibly winced and spun to the ground, he was up on his feet in split second but Charlize was fast and she didn’t give him a chance to recover. She lashed at him from all angles, hitting his chest, his sides, missing his face by an inch with her fist. The blue-nette dropped to the ground and kicked out her leg, sweeping Raiden’s legs from beneath him.
Springing to her feet lightly, Charlize grinned like a Cheshire cat as the small crowd of people jeered, winced and ’Ooo’d’.
“That was dirty.” Raiden growled from the mat, pushing himself to sit up right.
“Hey, I can’t help it if your whipped.” She taunted and then held out of her hand for her brother to take. Raiden took it and climbed to his feet, offering his sister his own glare.
“I’m not whipped, brat.” He grumbled, rotating his head around in a circle to work out the kinks.
“Ha!” Charlize snorted and quickly stepped out of the way when Raiden swung a half-hearted punch her way. He should’ve known better than to be tricked by his sly sister. He usually knew when Anemone was around. He was so attuned to her scent that it was beyond easy for him to pick it up. But the look of pure horror on his sisters face, had caused him to panic and turn his attention elsewhere. His sister was sneaky! He’d get her back for it later, for now he’d let her revel in her small victory.
“Way to go, pup.” His grin was taunting. He knew that she hated it when he referred to her as a dog, despite being part dog-demon. He ruffled her hair and she grumbled, swatting at his hand.
“Don’t call me that.” She mumbled, pulling her hair free from her band so that she could tidy it up. Two seconds later and she’d pulled it up into a much more neat pony-tail.
“Are we done?” Raiden asked, his eyes lazily scanning over the crowd of people that had gathered. When Charlize nodded, he turned towards the group, clapping his hands.
“Okay kiddies, get lost.” He ordered, shooing them away. The older students glared at him when he referred to them as kids. They muttered under their breath, questioning his strange behaviour, and shuffled back to what they had been doing earlier.

Casper had been one of the witnesses to Raiden and Charlize's sparring match. He had originally been in the gym doing his regular five circuits of the track, something he did every day. It was the only time in the day his mind was focused, so he rarely missed the time if he could. To get to the shower rooms, he had to go through the sparring rooms, and intrigued by the large group had joined them.
He was open mouthed for most of the fight.
He had never seen two people move with so much speed and agility. To him, Raiden and Charlize moved though they were in a sped up piece of film. Like mere blurs. He didn't dare blink, he didn't want to miss anything. Their movements - those he could see - were fluid and flawless. Like they had both been trained to fight since birth. He didn't understand how they could exchange words during their fighting - it seemed impossible to him. He knew he would never have been able to keep up with either one of them.
He wouldn't have wanted to take Raiden on in a fight anyway. He probably would have ripped him to shreds. He was surprised to see Charlize still in one piece. But as she kicked Raiden's legs from beneath him and he hit the mpas with a thud, Casper could see she was able to hold her own.
Raiden began shooing the congregated students and other professors away once their fight had concluded, and Charlize seemed to have been declared winner. Casper ignored the shooing motion and went the opposite direction - towards the pair of them.
"That was amazing!" He gushed, mostly towards Charlize. He somehow doubted gushing was something Raiden would react well to. "The speed! You're like a pair of bullets from guns! How do you do it!!?!" He was enthused by their fighting. The idea of a taking a shower had gone completely from his mind.
---
"Oh... I guess its a bit busy here today." Anemone murmured to herself, peeking around the door. Usually she wouldn't have minded the business. But she had her sword with her and needed some space to actually wield the thing. For a moment she considered disappearing and coming back later, but knew if she opted to do that, she wouldn't come back. Her sword was big and cumbersome, and heavy. She didn't like to carry it unless she really had to. It had taken her this long to bother to bring it to the gym to practice with. It would be even longer if she left now.
She considered this for a second, then shoved the door open with her shoulder and wandered in, sword dragging on the floor. She noticed immediately she appeared to have missed something a few seconds before as a group was in the process of dispursing. A fight perhaps?
Moving away from the door, Anemone put her sword to one side and started to pull hair into a ponytail. She found it easier to train with her hair up - it didn't get so much in the way. As she did, a dark skinned girl, and her semi-translucent friend came to sit beside her talking. Anemone recognised the semi-translucent girl from one of her classes, but couldn't recall her name. Helen possibly?
"What did I miss?" Anemone asked quickly, as she finished tying her hair up.
"Charlize, she was practicing with that Raiden guy. Y'know, the one who doesn't like the students."
"Oh yeah." Anemone hid her grin and simply nodded.
"Yeah," Helen continued, "they're super fast. You missed it though."
"Ah well," Anemone grinned this time, "its okay." Taking took up her sword, resting it on her left shoulder. She decided she'd wait for the time being, a couple of people were bound to head off sooner or later giving her a little more room to swing.

((OOC: I am apologising in advance for Raiden and his not-so-clean thoughts. That is all I shall say, haha. xD)) _____________[/center] Anemone had entered the Gym.
Raiden didn’t have to see her to know. He could smell her.
The Hanyou was vaguely aware of someone asking him something, but he didn’t pay them any attention because Anemone was here. He crossed over to where she stood, ignoring the two girls at her side. They didn’t speak and he could see through his peripheral vision the curious looks they swapped with each other. But that didn’t matter because Anemone was stood before him, in arms reach.
There was a numbing ache, a yearning in his chest. His eyes never left hers.
Raiden took the blade from Anemone’s hand, discarding it on the floor. His large hands found her waist, where he pushed her back against the gym wall. He was kissing her within mere seconds, his hands tugging at her waist, pulling her closer. One hand smoothed over the curve of her hip, brushing down to grip her thigh. Using his hold on her leg, he hiked it up so that their bodies were even closer, meshed together in an embrace that wasn’t entirely PG-13.
“Raiden..”
There were loud gasps of shock joined by whispers and squeals of ‘Oh my god!’ and ‘What is he doing!?’
“Hey, Raiden.”
Raiden didn’t care about the attention. His lips danced with Anemone’s hungrily. He’d moved to rest the flat of his palm against the gym wall, his other hand. no longer needed to hold up Anemone’s leg as she had curled it in place, moved to her lower back.
His fingers pressed into her flesh.
“Raiden.”
Her hands were in his hair, tugging and pulling him into a deeper kiss. He responded eagerly, moaning against her lips when he felt her tongue brush against his lower lip.
“Rai!”
Their position had shifted. Her legs were curled around his hips and her arms were around his neck, her slim fingers still entangled in his hair.
“Dusk!”
Raiden winced when he felt something strike the back of his head. “The hell-!” he blinked, bewildered, and turned his head to see who it was that had hit him.
Charlize stared at him wary and bemused, both of her eyebrows raised in expectation.
“You’ve been staring into space for the past minute.” She accused, failing to mention that he had been staring at Anemone for the past minute. She didn’t think it wise to mention that in front of Casper.
“Snap out of it.” She shot him a warning glare, her expression exasperated.
‘Could he be anymore obvious?’ Was the idle thought that ran through her mind.
Charlize had been speaking with Casper, gloating gleefully when he complimented her. She’d been explaining about herself and Raiden being of Hanyou blood, when she’d turned to ask Raiden a question. He hadn’t been listening though. He’d been staring across the gym in a trance, a wild look of lust in his eyes.
Charlize knew that look all to well and when she’d spotted him rocking forward, ready to head over to Anemone, Charlize had smacked him out of his daydream. The last thing he needed was to get both himself and Anemone in trouble for acting on his wild impulses.
The moon was full, which meant that his behaviour was at it’s wildest. He was unpredictable, but Charlize knew this side of Raiden enough to know that he had a one track mind when it came down to the opposite sex. There was nothing unpredictable about how he’d act if he was around Anemone.
She’d have to keep tabs on him. ‘Geez, it’s a good thing he doesn’t go into heat.’ she mused, only female Hanyou were unlucky enough to go through that. But then, he might as well be in heat. He was such a horn dog. At least when under the pull of the moon.
“Sorry about him.” Charlize apologised to Casper with a roll of her eyes.
Raiden groaned and rubbed a hand over his face, trying to push the heated day-dream from his mind. He’d never had such a vivid day-dream before. Of course he day-dreamed about the fairer sex, he was a hot blooded male after all. But never had he had a day-dream that had felt so real. He was sure he could taste Anemone on his tongue.
He knew that If Charlize hadn’t snapped him from his daze he would’ve ended up doing something he’d regret and was grateful that she had.
“You were at that club, right?” Raiden questioned suddenly, forcing his attention to Casper. It was hard to think through his thoughts of Anemone, her smell was blinding his thoughts. His maroon eyes would continue to flicker over to his girlfriend. Charlize would elbow him in the ribs every time he stared longer than he should have. People were bound to notice sooner or later.
“So you two are friends?” Charlize questioned, glancing between Raiden and Casper.

Casper listened intently as Charlize quite happily explained to him how she had brought down someone as big as Raiden. Explained her heritage and how it made her swifter, stronger and all together more agile. This went for Raiden too, and Casper was fascinated. He wanted to know more. Much more about them both. They were fascinating. He had never come across Hanyou before, and the mere idea now enthralled him.
It also explained Raiden's ears (that Casper was insanely jealous of) and also why Casper would never have a pair of his own. No matter how much genetic modification he discovered.
He waited patiently, but a little jittery when Charlize asked Raiden her question. Raiden hadn't seemed to hear, distracted by something across the gym. A trio of girls talking animatedly. He knew one of the girls, Amanda, a metamorphic from his theology class. The other two were unknown to him. Casper wondered if Raiden was staring at Amanda, it was rude. It wasn't her fault she was see through!
He went to say, try and alert Raiden to how he was ignoring both him and Charlize, when the bluenette beat him to it, and threw a ball with perfect aim into Raiden's head. Casper covered his head and flinched. She was brave. Veeeerrrrrryyyyyy brave. He would not have done something like that to Raiden for any amount of money. ... Raiden probably would have turned him into a basket ball if he had.
When Charlize apologise form Raiden's behaviour, as Raiden checked the bang on his head, Casper grinned, "Oh its fine! I'd take my hat off to you if I was wearing one. I'm sure he'd rip me apart if I threw something at him." His gaze changed to Raiden when he snapped a question about the club. Casper assumed this was the bar where he had played cards, lost money and got so blind drunk he couldn't remember much of it. So he nodded vaguely, until Charlize changed the topic asking the rather pointed question of whether he and Raiden were friends.
Casper smiled weakly, "we hung out. And I got really, really, reeeeally drunk. So maybe?" He laughed at himself, "show me some of your moves! I really want to try!"
--
"I hate to alert you, but Professor. Raiden is staring at you." Helen was saying to Anemone, trying to keep her lips from moving too much.
Anemone looked up, ignoring Amanda's cry of 'don't look!' to confirm what Helen was saying. He was, and Anemone knew the look fairly well. She smirked inwardly, lightly licking the corner of her mouth as she turned her attention back to the two other girls.
"So he is. Maybe he's trying to work out who I am." She played it fairly cool, trying to keep their tracks nice and hidden. Though any work she'd done would be undone if Raiden lost control of himself.
"He actually looks like he wants to eat you." Amanda pointed out, her voice blank.
Anemone managed a strained laugh, and glared at the silver haired Hanyou out of the corner of her eye. Amanda had no idea how apt that description was. "He looks like he's in pain. Maybe he has a stomach ache."
"Perhaps he needs a belly rub." Helen giggled. Amanda giggled. Anemone half smiled. She wondered if that would ever be something Raiden allowed her to do. She was gradually building up the courage to see if he would let her rub her ears. She decided once she had that under her belt, tummy rubbing would be the next thing.
Looking passed Raiden, who was now being glared at by Charlize and had his back mostly turned to Anemone, she spotted a free space where she could practice. A dummy had already been set up. The space wasn't big enough, really - so she would have to leave sword training for another time and just train her body. Basic sparring, hand to hand.
Anemone rolled her eyes. Joy.
"There's a free spot. I'll see you guys." She waved at Amanda and Helen as she wandered in the direction. By passing Charlize, Raiden and the other man they were with for the moment, Anemone set her sword against the practice dummy to indicate the spot was now occupied, and flexed her fingers.
Sparring was tough when the opponent didn't move. Usually she practiced with one of her brothers, and they moved. They moved unfairly and too quickly, and usually she ended up with her face in the dirt. But it was always more entertaining training with someone else. Anemone bit her lower lip.
She shouldn't. She couldn't be this mean to herself or to Raiden, but there was a temptation, and Raiden probably was a good person to spar with. And it wasn't like he would try anything in front of so many people. Let alone his sister. Anemone nodded to herself and quickly moved across the gym floor to the small group.
"Hiya!" Anemone greeted, coming to Charlize's side, she figured it would be safer to be here, than go next to Raiden.
"Hi!" Casper was quick to greet her, his voice alarmingly high pitched. Anemone quickly frowned.
"Uhm... I need a sparring partner. Its a bit dangerous to use my sword in here." She rolled her shoulders in a shrug, "I was wondering if either of you wanted to play with me?" Anemone kept her eyes mostly fixed on Charlize, and Casper, though occasionally glanced at Raiden to get a view on his reaction. "It would really help me out."

Raiden snorted to himself, an amused smirk twisting his lips when Casper said that he’d probably rip him to pieces if he were to throw something at him. He was right.
Raiden paid little attention to Casper as he spoke of the night they had headed to the club, Anemone was approaching. When Casper asked Charlize to show him some moves she had passed by them, taking up a space with a dummy. To spar he guessed.
“Sure thing.” Charlize flashed him a grin, laughing at his excitable attitude. It was infectious and he reminded Charlize of a hyper-active puppy. “Have you done any fighting before?”
Before Casper could answer, Anemone appeared at her side greeting the group with a cheerful ‘hiya.’
“Hey.” Charlize smiled at the tall girl and chanced a look at her brother. He looked relaxed and calm on the outside, but that same look was in his eyes.
Raiden couldn’t help the smirk that tugged at his lips when Anemone asked if any of them would play with her. He had to bite down on his tongue to stop the comment that had about to spill from his lips. He needed to behave.
“Sure I-”
“Charlize.” Raiden interrupted his sister, “Weren’t you going to show Casper here some moves?” He flashed an all too innocent grin at the wary glare his sister was shooting his way. She clearly didn’t trust him enough to spar with Anemone. He didn’t trust himself either but like hell would he pass up an opportunity to get down and dirty with Anemone without actually getting.. Down and dirty. At least not in the sense he wanted.
Before Charlize could come up with any excuses to prevent him from sparring with Anemone, Raiden moved.
“C’mon, brat.” he breezed past Anemone, his voice level and indifferent. Charlize watched him leave, a disapproving frown on her face, before she turned to face Anemone.
“Are you sure?” Charlize questioned, her voice low. “I mean.. Raiden can get.. Over excited.. When he spars.” Charlize stared at Anemone and hoped the taller girl understood the hidden meaning behind her words. “I mean, he gets a little.. carried away.”

Casper wondered what was going on between Charlize and Raiden, as they kept exchanging looks that were unreadable to anyone else. He wondered if they had a kind of sibling telepathy. If that was part of being a Hanyou. There were a lot of things he didn't understand about hanyou, or other meta humans. They were all so different, and each one had different ways of working. Working at the school was a massive learning curve for him.
He turned his attention fully back to Charlize as he asked if he'd done any fighting and shook his head, "I did some Tai Kwon Do when I was a kid, but aside from that, haven't done much else." He grinned, eagar to get started. it wasn't often he was given the oppertunity to learn something new. "So I'm an entirely fresh mould!"
The taller girl both Raiden and Charlize seemed to know, so Casper waited patiently for them to decide who would help her out. He'd have offered, if he actually knew anything about sparring. He was a runner, not much of anything else. He grinned a bit when Raiden reminded Charlize that she was going to help him, and managed to put his face into the most feeble one he could, in case Charlize needed further convincing.
Anemone, while watching the exchange kept silent and aware that the idea of her sparring with Raiden would probably make Charlize wary. She wasn't wrong, considering how Charlize was about to offer and how Raiden interjected. Anemone quirked an eyebrow. Apparently he was about as gung-ho for this as she was.
It was going to be interesting.
She pretended not to get annoyed by the 'brat' comment. They were back to that in public, so she rolled her eyes at Raiden's back, turning her attention back to Charlize as she spoke in a low voice.
"I'm sure." Anemone answered with a small grin. She was touched by Charlize's concern, the truth was she had been concerned about how the blue haired girl would take her and Raiden being together. Though it seemed to be taken all in her stride. "I'll be fine, trust me. Raiden wouldn't hurt me." The resolve in her tone was firm, and she grinned quickly, before turning and following after Raiden.
Casper took the oppertunity to tap Charlize's shoulder. "So - show me! I'm you're willing and somewhat able to student."
Anemone approached Raiden from behind and chanced a quick, affectionate action by lightly scratching his ear as she passed him. The movement was over quickly, and she went to the wall to warm up, throwing a small smile over her shoulder at him. "So, where do you want me? Once I'm warmed up?"

Discarding his jacket by the large sword Anemone carried, Raiden closed his eyes for a brief moment and worked out the kinks in his neck, inhaling and exhaling slowly. He needed to stay cool and collected when sparring with Anemone. No inappropriate touching or fondling. No kissing. Raiden frowned, figuring he must be some sort of masochist because this was going to be pure torture.
He blanched when Anemone scratched his ear and then questioned where he wanted her, his mouth drying instantly.
‘Up against the wall is pretty good.’ Raiden bit his tongue. Hard. The small part of him that was still tame reminded him that he needed to behave. But that was easier said than done. His thoughts were more primal than they were human right now. Controlling himself around Anemone was going to be difficult and would only become more difficult throughout the day.
He knew his attitude would only worsen as the day wore on and the night approached. Then any trace of the tame and reserved Raiden would be gone.
He’d have to make himself scarce eventually. Whilst he was still thinking somewhat clearly. He would spar with Anemone and then leave. Easy.
Maybe not.
Anemone was warming up against the wall. Stretching out her long legs, her clothes twisted and tightened across her flesh in interesting ways. Of course Raiden couldn’t help but stare, his fingers twitching in anticipation. He wondered how anyone could look so sexy. Hell she looked sexy just standing. He blinked hard, four times. Anemone really would be the death of him. He’d implode before the day was over.
“Over here is good.” He said finally, his voice husky.
“You sure you can keep up with me, Nemo?” His voice was taunting and he flashed Anemone a wolfish grin, failing to hide the predatory gleam in his eye. “Charlize probably would’ve been a better choice for you.” Not like he would let her spar with anyone else. Anemone was his to play with.
He stood on the mat, his arms folded across his chest, his eyes never leaving Anemone. He waited patiently. At least somewhat.. Patient. He wanted to touch her. A flash of Anemone pressed against his chest, her fingers curling into his short hair danced through his mind. He grinned, satisfying the wait with remembering his daydream. ____ ____ Charlize watched as Anemone departed, Anemone getting hurt was the last thing the blue-nette was worried about. With a sigh she shrugged her worries from her mind. Raiden was a grown man, he could do whatever he wanted. He’d just have to deal with the consequences later. Charlize herself didn’t see a problem with Anemone and Raiden dating. They were both adults after all. Raiden was only 23 and Anemone was 18. They could do whatever the hell they wanted. Except Charlize knew that there were people who would be difficult about the whole situation. A tap to the shoulder snapped her from her thoughts. Charlize turned and smiled, apologetic, at Casper. “Okay, so.” Charlize paused and turned her head onto its side in thought. She eyed Casper over, taking in his build and physique and then scratched at the furry end of her ear. “What do you want to learn? Defence? Offence? Best way to take your enemy by surprise?”

There was something up. Capser could be dense, but he wasn't stupid. Something seemed to distract Charlize where Raiden, and the tall brunette was concerned. The blue haired girl seemed distracted for a few long moments when they both crossed to the empty space the tall girl had claimed.
Probably a sibliling thing. Maybe she was jealous, the other girl had kind of swanned in and stolen Raiden's attention. Casper pouted to himself, that hadn't been a very brotherly thing to do. Casper almost felt bad for interrupting their break in sparring, had he not, the brunette might not have come and stolen Raiden away.
As Charlize smiled at him, apologetic, Casper returned it, equally so. He stood casually, his shoulders slightly haunched watching Charlize scrutenize him. He was mostly skin and bone, long and gangly, though he liked his upper body. His legs were just stupid though. He often compared them to a baby gazelle's.
"Offense!" Casper said, without a moments hesitation. "I'd love to know how to beat someone at their own game!" He started to shadow box, punching the air, and grinned behind his hands, "I'd kill to be able to do the stuff you and Raiden can do - but that's totally specific to you guys, so I just have to be jealous."
His darting movements came to a stop and he smiled at Charlize, "what's your favourite move? Teach me that one."
---
Anemone left Raiden to his thoughts while she readied her body for the intense torture she was about to put it through. Anemone hated exercise unless it meant being in water, where she was at home. On land she had to rely on her balance, and general co-ordination which was shaky at the best of times. The only reason she was here was because she had been feeling lethargic and had been experiencing a 'fat' day, and needed to do something about it. She would have preferred training with her sword, not hand-to-hand.
But the fact she was now doing this with Raiden made things look up.
She stretched her legs, and then her arms. Working her shoulders in circles to ease out knots and kinks. She cricked her neck from side to side, and rolled her head around, making sure all her muscles were warm and ready and she wouldn't be aching as much as usual when she was finished.
Raiden finally gave her a response to her earlier query, his tone gruff and not quite itself. Anemone grinned to herself, continuing to stretch her limbs slowly, taking her sweet time, while Raiden spoke at her, in an attempt to taunt. Anemone simply found herself rolling her eyes. Raiden seemed to have forgotten she had fifteen siblings, many of the boys she fought with regularly, and it wasn't sparring. She was still alive from that.
"I'm sure I can keep to your pace," Anemone said finally, completing her warm up and then relaxing her body completely, "but remember to be gentle with me." If he wanted to taunt, then she would tease.
Crossing to the spot Raiden had indicated to, Anemone waited for a moment. Raiden appeared distracted by something, staring at her with a grin across his face. Another eye roll, and Anemone planted her hands on her hips, "am I really that interesting? Move your ass, I don't want to be here all day." Anemone took up a relaxed stance, lightly shifting her weight back and forth on her feet. "When you're ready."

Raiden couldn’t help the smile that slipped onto his face when anemone fell into her stance across the mat, ready for whatever he was about to dish out. It was clear in that moment that wouldn’t be able to take sparring with her seriously. Not that he would anyway, it was all fun and games after all, but- - seeing Anemone stood that way, ready to attack was weird. And funny.
This was the girl he’d had to help out twice after she’d hurt herself. He couldn’t imagine her fighting against anyone. He didn’t want to imagine her fighting against anyone. In his eyes Anemone was fragile. Something to be protected. And sure she probably could defend herself, but he didn’t want to think that she’d ever be put into a situation where she had to fight. Except she probably would. With a world full of angry meta’s and jealous demons, anything could happen.
Raiden decided then that he’d teach Anemone as much as he could in hand-to-hand combat. Because whilst he liked to think that he’d always be around to protect her, Raiden couldn’t be certain. He couldn’t be with her 24/7.
A grin tugged at the corner of his lips as he slipped forward into a crouch at Anemone’s command, his eyes never left hers. He winked and then disappeared. Raiden moved fast, too fast for Anemone to see his movements clearly. It was unfair but he didn’t care. There were meta’s and demons a hundred times faster than he was. Anemone needed to learn to defend herself against anything and everything.
Once he’d stopped his movements, he had Anemone’s back pressed against his front. One hand keeping her hands behind her back, firmly in place. Whilst his other arm had a loose curl around her slender neck.
“This is too easy.” He breathed and pressed a soft kiss to her bare shoulder. He leapt away a split second later, so that no one would grow suspicious of his hold on Anemone. Also to keep his sanity in tact. Long moments of body contact were a definite no-no. He’d have to keep touching her to a minimum. Which would be hard considering the fact that they were sparring.
He’d also have to try and hold his breath when in close proximity. Just then he’d tried to breath through his mouth rather than his nose so that he wouldn’t inhale her scent up close. It hadn’t worked as well as he would have liked, he could taste her on his tongue after all. But it was much better. He knew that inhaling her scent up close would be enough to send him into a wild frenzy.
“How about I just stand here?” he grinned, his tone of voice light and teasing. ___________

((It wasn't crap! Now stop beating yourself up! xp Also, feel free to God mod Anemone too. ^^ I think a certain amount of God modding has to occour in these situations. :B
Also - I warn you now, fight scenes are not my strong point!))
There were no thoughts in Anemone's mind aside from that she going to come away from this with her pride severely battered. She wasn't the most skilled fighter in the world, any time she won against her brother's it was usually through sheer luck, and there was a water source nearby. No such luck with the gym. The swimming pool was to far away fro her to manipulate. Raiden was going to mush her into the ground. Perhaps not literally, but in someway, just to make her feel two inches tall.
She tried to concentrate on what she had on her side. She was tall, so she had long legs. She could kick with a bit of power behind it, and she had a skill for blocking and throwing punches at the right time. Likewise she was flexible - which she could use to her advantage if the need arose. And of course, the fact that Raiden had difficulty resisting just about everything about her was a bonus.
But if she used her appeal that was a last resort, and also cheating technically. So she wouldn't. ... Much.
Anemone's gaze stayed on Raiden's. Her heart hammered on her rib cage fuelling the adrenaline. This was only sparring, but Anemone somehow felt there was more electricity in the air which made her tense up at exactly the wrong minute.
Raiden was gone and a second later, Anemone's hands were held behind her back and her neck encircled. So fast... Anemone's thoughts went onto her instinctive struggling, which paused the moment the soft kiss was felt on her skin. She turned blue and growled as Raiden released her. No fair.. that is in no way fair. Her knees trembled uncertainly as she took up a stance again and glared at Raiden fiercely.
He was taunting her again, and she didn't like it. "I should warn you I'm a sore loser -" Her tone was haughty, "make of that what you will." Moments later she had dashed at Raiden swinging judged and precise punches, which he managed to dodge or block without so much as blinking an eye. Anemone grew irritated and realised another tactic was in order. Perhaps she would have to rely on her appeal.
She was close enough now to get her hands on Raiden's shoulders, which she did, drawing herself towards mhim almost as if she was about to kiss him. The muscles in her legs bunched, and pushing her weight down on Raiden's shoulder's Anemone managed to elevate herself enough to flip over the top of him, and land a kick square between his shoulder blades. Anemone felt a momentary pride until she hit the ground in something of a heap.
Anemone muttered, "owie" to herself as she got back onto her feet. She retook her stance. Raiden didn't seem to have moved. She doubted her little kick had actually done anything. Still - it was nice to know she could still pull off that trick. "Bet you didn't know I could do that, huh?"

Raiden couldn’t fight back the face splitting grin that twisted his lips. If looks could kill he’d be dust. Anemone’s glare was downright dangerous. She was an angry, red-faced, glowing-blue mess and he loved it.
The urge to kiss her became more prominent and Raiden tensed.
At his sides, he balled one hand into a fist, pressing his blunt nails so hard into the skin of his palm that he winced. His ears fell back slightly and the corners of his mouth twisted out of their cocky grin and into a slight frown. Ow. Some might label him as some sort of weirdo masochist. But that wasn’t the case. Causing himself pain was the only distraction strong enough to rid himself of straying thoughts that concerned the object of his affections.
He managed a small smirk at Anemones admittance. He hated losing too. He had the tendency to smash things when he lost. That was only when he was actually competing for something. He figured it had something to do with his "Demon Gladiator" past. He had hated to lose in the ring. There was nothing worse. Losing meant punishment. Losing was not much of an option back then.
Anemone’s scent hit him like a ton of bricks and Raiden tensed immediately, his eyes blinking owlishly, completely bewildered. He’d gotten side-tracked with his thoughts and hadn't noticed Anemone appear in front of him. With her hands on his shoulders and her lips slightly parted - moving closer and closer..
His thoughts sluggish in comparison to Anemone’s movements. Instead of a kiss, she’d vaulted up over his shoulders, landing a kick between his shoulder blades.
Raiden staggered forward, not from the force of Anemones kick but from the fact that if he had stood rooted there like a brick wall and she had kicked him, it would have dealt her more damage than him.
At least.. that’s what he liked to think. Truth was, her sneaky trick had worked. She pretended to kiss him and he wanted her too so bad that he didn’t even consider the possibility that it was all a trick. He’d been blinded by desire.
Huh.. Shi t.
Anemone was sneaky! Raiden couldn’t help the sly smile that toyed with his lips once he’d regained his composure. He turned around as she rose to her feet and smiled at her words. Something akin to awe in his gaze.
“You sure you wanna go down this path, brat?” his taunting smile was back and he raised both eyebrows at her expectantly, before he shook his head and shrugged his broad shoulders.
He could see their spar escalating to a dangerous height and he didn’t quite care as much as he should have.
Raiden came at her again, moving at a much slower speed. He’d make this easier for her. Let her get a hand up over him a few times. It was only fair. Still he blocked and dodged with every kick and punch she threw, laughing, truly laughing, at the looks of frustration that danced across her face. Was it weird that he thought Anemone looked pretty when she was annoyed and angry? He didn’t think so.
Catching her legs out from beneath her, Raiden grinned triumphant when she sprawled to the floor. He was stood over her a second later, resting his hands on his knees, he leaned forward and smiled down at the brunette. “That all you got, Nemo?”

Anemone couldn't really believe she had gotton away with that move. She had thought Raiden would retaliate immediately. And certainly didn't expect the look on his face she did see. Some kind expression that confused her. He looked... impressed? Anemone couldn't help grinning. It was always nice to be able to shock and surprise Raiden. She could have her secrets too.
Undoubtly he probably thought when this started she would be falling over - and okay, she had messed up her landing - but that aside she'd managed what she had wanted to. And Raiden's surprised expression was reward enough.
The small grin that had appeared on her face, changed slightly becoming a mixture of wry and sneaky. "Of course." She replied simply, taking up her original fighting stance, "I wouldn't have suggested this unless I was sure." Anemone winked momentarily, tensing as Raiden attacked again.
The change was noticable, but he made his movements slower for her to keep up and to give her at least a one percent chance of landing a hit. His movements may have been slower, but Anemone was still moving at a snail's pace in comparison. And his laughter irritated her. Not the noise, in fact she found she liked hearing Raiden laughing - it was so far to hear him laughing with genuine mirth. So for that reason liked the noise. She just didn't like that he was technically laughing at her.
And the more annoyed she got, the less precise her punches became and she found her kicks weren't as well judged.
The move that sent her sprawling to the floor should have been obvious, but it still managed to catch Anemone off guard. She felt the mat cool under her skin and grumbled up at Raiden while he stood over her. Taunting. Leaning forward, his hands resting on his knees. Anemone's chest heaved on her quick breaths. As irritated as she felt, she had to admit this was enjoyable. She'd never enjoyed sparring this much with her brothers. The added attraction with Raiden was undoubtly helpful. The fact they had to act how everyone else saw them, teacher and student. That was all. They had to show extreme control not to let things get too far.
But Anemone had to admit, that was getting very difficult. Raiden was... sexy when he was fighting. He barely had to think about the movements he was making, but there was something about how precise he was when he moved that made it obvious how he was built for speed. His body was strong and swift, and the movements he made were all natural. Anemone smirked to his question and she sat up, slipping her hands over Raiden's.
"Not by a long shot, furball." Anemone narrowed her eyes. She swivelled quickly and mimicked his own tactic from the floor, kicking her legs out to catch Raiden, catching him off balance. He toppled and hit the mat with a thud as Anemone released his hands. Shifting up onto her hands and knees, Anemone quickly shuffled towards his head - lightly brushing her fingers up his arm.
"So tell me," Anemone murmured softly, lowered her head so her mouth was directly by his ears, "are you enjoying this as much as I am?" She risked a light kiss to the cornor of his mouth, with a barely noticeable nip on his lower lip.
Seconds later she was on her feet. "You know Professor - I think you're going easy on me." Anemone stretched up towards the ceiling, flexing her muscles, "is it cause I'm a girl?"
((Errrrruuuuuggghhhhhhhh laaaame. x___x Sorry!!!! I'll try and think of something better next time.))
