She knew his name. Jim had a surprised look on his face as he responded to her question.
"I'm an early riser. My powers are based off of sunlight. The earlier I rise, the more chance I get to fill up my energy stores." The young man looked at the angelic being, then to the red haired male next to her. He looked grumpy.
Jim reached out with his empathetic powers, however limited they may be. He wasn't grumpy. He was just quiet, it felt. Calm. And he didn't like to share his emotions and such. The angel, it seemed, was on guard right now, cautious for some reason that he felt had to do with the red haired guy. That was all he could really read off of them. He mentally shrugged and smiled.
"So who are you two? I'm new here, so I don't really know anybody."
The metahuman looked at the two back and forth, waiting for an answer from either.

"I see." Nimah murmured, commetning on Jim's explanation of the reason he was up to early. It made sense to her. All powers were different and solar powers seemed quite sensitive. She wondered what they were like on over-clouded days, but didn't consider it long. She would probably find out as Winter approached.
"I'm Professor Bright." Nimah introduced herself, lightly rustling her wings against the wind. "But my students tend to call me Nimah."
"And this is Mr-" Nimah turned to Cino, and then stopped herself, "actually, I'll let him introduce himself. I wouldn't want to be rude." Nimah shifted uncomfortably again, and shifted her gaze skywards.
"It looks like its going to be a bright day. Windy though." The was making note of the weather of herself. She felt some unrest in the air and it worried her, though she didn't make note of it. Returning her gaze to Jim, Nimah smiled, "were you on your way somewhere?"

Cino gazed hazily at the rather bright and somewhat cherry student before him. The first ten seconds were a key to analyzing someone and figuring out everything about them. Of course Cino was already at about nine seconds by the time he realized he was doing this passively. The first ten seconds...something he was taught very early on. The first ten seconds of anything was key. Even while fighting...yes fighting. Odd that even peaceful conversations could be related to the 'art' form.
Cino shook his head slightly at the hearing of Nimah letting him introduce herself. "Hmph, its Cino." He simply put as he folded his arms for a brief moment contemplating what to do. It only took him an additional three seconds to figure it out. "Its been a pleasure...Professor." He had enough of being around the angelic figure for the time being. To be honest she was beginning to give him a bit of headache, not something that felt too pleasant. With that Cino twirled around on his boots and strode away. His coat fluttered from a deep red to a hazy blue as better thoughts crossed his mind and emotions. What to do. That was the question. Cino had no clue what to do, however brushed the thought away with the wind. Whatever would happen, happened.

"It's nice to meet you, Professor. Mr Cino." He bowed his head in respect to both of them.
The teacher began to comment on the window, and is on cue, a gentle breeze blew through the treetops. He felt something like unrest on the caressing winds. It was odd. Before he could contemplate it, Cino departed them and Nimah spoke up.
"I'm not going anywhere important. I just wander around aimlessly. always have, since I discovered my powers."
He looked at the departing figure of Cino. As he had thought, the other male was a solitary type. His emotions were focused on him during that one moment, and Cino had seemed to be analyzing him like he was trying to size up an opponent, it felt. And he had a dislike of the angel in front of him.
"So... you're a professor? What subject?"
